Dubsta 2 (custom) spawn strategies

Been there, done that! I spent god knows how long parked up in that corner driveway in vinewood hills waiting on one to spawn and drive past me so i could grab it! Little did i know that spawn point had been removed ages prior and that you could only get one to spawn if you already had one........

Oh really? Why is that? Is it because of the discount/sale that's going on? Still less than 23k for the dubstas. How long has this been going on? Since DLC dropped?

 

At that price, it would be the 2nd highest selling free car. Just above the Dominator at 19k.

In the spirit of selling the highest value car I'm sure players here wouldn't mind the sidebar. 15k is what I got from it. Can someone else confirm another price for the red sabre turbo?

 

Gold/Chrome Dubsta 2: $23k

Blue Dominator $19.9k

Blue Sand King/Blue sentinel $17k-$18k

 

 

Everything else is a waste of time in my humble opinion. Dubstas have done the trick for me.

Had one spawn at the lsc near lesters warehouse and drove it to my garage in Murrieta Heights, but when I was driving out on the bridge again there was already a new one at the same place when I looked down there. So I didn't need to drive out on the bridge/highway. Some of you have probably experienced this, but thought it was worth to mention. Also have a video of it if anyone wants to see

You might want to up the volume on your mic this time mate, I remember seeing that video a few months ago when I was looking for one and could hardly hear a word you said, I had to higher my volume right up and when you pressed any button on your phone or a car went past it was too loud to hear you.

Hello all, I love this post, because I cant find the dubsta. I have the old full tuned dubsta (back tyre center, not left). I have 3 garages filled with dominator (19940$) but i want this vehicle. Can you help me too? Im javilueje. Edit: also im a PC user

I would say they don't have the exact same criteria, at least between PC and the rest. Because I can use the videos from consoles to see how to make them spawn, and it works... but not 100% like they tend to show. So its either some video magic or it just doesn't work as well in PC. I imagine it could be settings-related, perhaps draw distance affects it. Since all consoles have the same hardware they have the same graphics settings, so one Xbox will produce nearly the same results as another. But a super high-end PC might have everything cranked up and thus have longer spawn distances, messing with all the trigger points. while a low end GPU like mine has very short draw distance to stay under the memcap, which is mess up triggers in a different way.

 

For instance, when trying the bridge spawn method, my personal dubsta doesn't even render in until I am near the last light pole just by the onramp/exit, so I can't see anything back at the previous pole which is supposed to be the trigger. So I've never spawned one that way, though I have seen one spawn there randomly while driving around. I've also never had one spawn while using a chopper with my own Dubsta parked as 'bait' or whatever.

 

The circuit method at the midtown LCS and the 'money tree' trigger method from STN357's video have both worked for me, but its not reliable, and I've found sessions where they simply won't spawn even after an hour of trying. (This seems most common if there are normal Dubstas or Mesa/Jeeps spawning in traffic, whereas having Dominators in traffic tends to cause the blue Dominator to over-ride the Dubsta spawn)

 

I use both Denial of Service and Chopper Tail (Chopper tail is a lot faster to jump in and test as you spawn in where you start it and you start with no timer) and both seem to work.

 

Its just really inconsistent, sometimes you start it up, and the 1st circuit spawns one and you can get 2 or 3 quickly, other times you can waste an hour and get nothing, doing the exact same thing.

Yes, that makes perfect sense now. I'm running an i5 6600 with a gtx970 and settings are at max for everything and while the methods the console guys use do work, like you they are sometimes inconsistent, some days an 80% success rate other days 10% or 15% even when changing sessions. I too don't get Dubsta 2s to spawn when there are normal Dubstas in traffic. It would be good to hear if other PC users find the same. I can usually tell within the first couple of runs whether I'm going to have a successful session or not. I have most success at LSIA coming from the tree at the helipad end using DOS. Sometimes the Dubs spawn as the third car is just coming round the corner and other times that car has rounded the bend and is just entering the straight before they spawn. Anyway, it all adds to the fun. Thanks for the insightful input.

When I got mine or when I'm helping other people get one I play time to get away (Martin), it starts you where you are, locks it at 12.00 and has no timer. I have most luck at the LSC by the airport, when it's not there I loop around through the car park, up the grass and back onto the access road. I did one recently for someone on here, found it on the 5th or 6th pass. This is on PS4.
