Dubsta 2 (custom) spawn strategies

I've been following this topic for awhile now but I got interested again when I read about this Tonga Valley spawn.

Can someone provide a screenshot of this location on the game map for me and post it here as I am not sure where Tonga

Valley is in game, probably been there loads of times?

I have always believed the Dubsta2 spawn was never completely deleted from the game as some have thought, just moved

to see when we would find it again and if it can indeed be spawned here would like to at least see it in game for myself.

Image was a touch small but will have a look at this location next time I am online and see what I can find.

Could you maybe mark that "exact" location?

Edit: Nevermind, i think i found it. There is a little building on the right where you can buy fruits and later in the left there is the building directly next to that river on the left? (Route 11)

I'm an idiot. For some reason I thought my other character could spawn them and sold mine off. Can someone help me spawn one again on ps4?

Dude!!!

Hit me up if I'm online, will have time on the weekend if you are not sorted by then.

I went and found the location in the tongva vallwy today after failing many times on the bridge method (see ny post further up). Couldnt get any vehicle to spawn in this location at all. I for the life of me cant think what the trigger was to spawn it. Unless its cops, jet and dubsta. Im completly confuzzled by it.

Also confuzzled by your last response??? (Been awake playing gta way to long long) what do u mean by timetable?

You should get some rest bruh. I'll talking what time was it when the car spawned? The time of the day in-game. Was the car being drove or was it sitting in a lot? What was the color of the car? Gold or chrome?

That's been my stance since they left Vinewood Hills and my crew and I comb through a ton of places and once we get a bite, like the blue dominator gas station, we go full assault...that's how YouTube's are made children.

Gold or chrome?I believe it was about 10 am. Sunday.it was a gold dubsta. And it literally spawned right in front of me. It seemed like it was moving (but it could of been an optical illusion as i was driving full speed, while getting rammed by police) i didnt have time to react before i hit it, but i could of sworn it glitched to the left a bit or it actually tried to move out the way. Though i dont think it had a driver as far as i could tell.

Just another strange event in the wierd and wonderful life of gta 5

Did some research myself (regarding days) in combination with the bridge method:

Monday: Traffic = Lots of standard Dubstas which are very good to spawn Dubsta2s. Rarely any blue Dominators and only very few Comets.

Tuesday: Traffic = Lots of Imponte Phoenix. Spawn: A few custom Sabre Turbo + pretty good spawn of Dubsta2

Thursday: Traffic = Lots of Sabre Turbo. Spawn: Pretty much the same rate of Custom Sabre, Dubsta2 and Dominators.

Weekend: Traffic = Almost no Standard Dubstas or Sabre Turbos. Actually most of the cars are pretty "cheap". Maybe this is the reason why it is so difficult to spawn Dusbta2s during the weekend.

Can anyone verify these Traffic/Spawn observations?

I did notice once i stole a NPC ruiner and that was the only car that would spawn. So i think that some NPC cars are interfering with the spawn. Did not try it again because it pissed me off.......lol

That is why I start in a Dubsta and finish in one. No chance of NPCs screwing it up. I also have everyone else in the session call theirs because the more the merrier.

So STN357 I have seen your video to spawn D2s with the bridge method but I can't for the life of me spawn even one! I have a D2 I've used since last year to spawn them, but I don't even have a clue why I can't get it to work. I'm using TTGA but apparently that has nothing to do with it right? I do as you did on the video and head up first with the dubsta and then park it and drive away on something else (SUVs usually) but no spawns, how far should I drive?

I am also starting with a dubsta. But once i spawn one and switch cars (drive it to the garage and back next to the spawn point) the traffic and the car you choose to drive seems to be important (or maybe just the traffic which is around the spawn point). Sure you could just always drive with the dubsta2 and try to spawn another one. I might try it to see if it makes any difference.

That's strange! Where you parking your d2? Not in front of the red fuel tank and the wooden spool is it? If so that's the spot where they spawn.

If your xb1 I'll be online in 2 hours and will show you.

Wish I was there to help you out but I don't use TTGA. I use DOS every time. The traffic pattern is half and its been the premise of my Dubsta spawn methods.

Moving along, from the green sign facing towards La Mesa, go to the pole in the middle of the bridge and place your dubstas wheels on the back of the line just before the pole. Watch down there as it spawns effortlessly.

If you are below lvl 70 you will experience difficulties doing this. If players in the session with you are lower than 70, it'll be problematic. Just a heads up. Thanks for checking out the video btw.

The traffic during ttga compared to dos is actually pretty low. I used to use ttga before i knew about it. Dos (=more traffic) seems to be the better option for spawns though. I did it below lvl70 and those dubstas usually spawned within 3 trys (going back and forth from the sign to the line). I basically just reached lvl70. Have to see if the spawn now is actually better ;) (goes also for the 100% method)

On TTGA along with dubsta and imponte ruiner that spawns by customs. Sometimes various motorbikes with various coloured wheels spawns in the gas station close by

I can tell you this confidently because we have done tons of tests that low ranks do not yield dubstas at an unlimited pace. The airport method is built off these exact values. We had people requesting left and right and we tried to figure out why they couldn't spawn them.

I did a controlled experiment for each rank by tens, from 1-120. From 1-60 we noticed that each member who owned a Dubsta was able to get one if we had3other high ranks (above 120) with there dubstas out but couldn't spawn them at an unlimited rate. We then switched the roles and had the low rank host and try and spawn for the others. They couldn't do it at an unlimited pace at each location. It doesn't spawn as consistent. It'll be onsies, twosies, as very sporadic.

This experiment was built around Denial of service because of the traffic pattern difference and because we could put 4 players in DOS opposed to all other missions. We also all got in the same truck to get going. When we took the lower lvl out of the session, we could spawn dubstas at the rate you see in my videos, with the day not being a factor.

I've never used TTGA as a means of spawning trucks because out9doesn't fit the amount of people I need in it for my method to work! It's built around DOS so when I hear pplc use TTGA, I simply think to myself, "Why not use Denial of service?"

When I went into TTGA i noticed at the airport that coming around that corner, the traffic is doubled up. Thus making g the 3 up 2 down method a little different. It changes the dynamic. It can still be done, it is just a different from the spawning.

I'll make a video for TTGA showing the differences and then you'll see what I'm talking about. I'm not trying to s h i t on your method and progression I'm just letting you know that this has been the product of countless hours of research. That is why or methods are tyre benchmark because they've been vetted and work better than anything else out there. That is why I know for a fact, rank plays a role in it.

The day of the week hasn't been proven to be a factor for me but I've seen players commenting on it and will have to research it after my finals week. Thanks again!

Tbh i am not doing that airport or 3up2down method that often because it requires a crew or other players who know about the mechanism. But obviously the level and ttga may have been a factor in my previous tries. For now i prefer your bridge method which also works pretty good at lower levels. Just before i tried it on a wednesday and the traffic was a mix of sabre turbos, some SUVs and declasse vigeros. The last one was very good for spawning more dubstas2 and i only noticed it when doing it on wednesdays so far. Obviously, if you do it with 2 people the traffic doesnt matter at all, because you can just collect dubstas while the other player saves e.g. the declasse vigor (or forces the traffic to change by driving one) and you do not have to rely on the single player traffic spawn. On weekends there are also a lot of trucks on the highway. I didnt notice that many during workdays.

Simple fix for that is to get you a Dubsta buddy and start getting it easier. I can see using the bridge method seems easier but the airport method is simply better.

I think something important that isn't talked about much is the non-bulk method of getting these. Since these have become my sole source of steal/sell vehicles I try to be mindful when I'm in freeplay mode to swing in and grab one if it's there. For me, having limited companions to run DOS with, this meets a great deal of my needs for inventory. I try to keep a slot open mixed around my garages so if I do find one I don't have to drive clear to the other side of the map. Eventually I do creep into my backstock and need a bulk fill but for the most part this works well day to day. I do find myself driving my supped up Dubsta a lot more than anything else though as a result.

Well I had a brief look at Tonga Valley last night just before bed using Chopper Tail mission but was not able to spawn

any Dubsta 2 though it did spawn quite a few SUV's at this car park.

One thought that has occurred to me is there is a normal Dubsta 1 which spawns in traffic that looks very similar to the Dubsta

2 at a quick pass so is it possible this was what spawned while the cops were in pursuit?

I will do some more testing over the weekend when I have more time.

Tried for many hours last night to try and get that dubsta to spawn in the tonga valleys. NO LUCK AT ALL.

Thinking it must of been a random glitch now. Or it was a players dubsta.

Looks like ive been chasing a wild goose. My bad.

Had a strange glitch with my dubsta this morning. Left it as bait. But when i went back for it, it said i didnt have access to this vehicle. Wtf??

I drove far enough away in another car and then requested my personal vehicle.

I think my mechanic was being a twat. He said he couldnt deliver it at the moment. (Reckon he lost the keys to be fair lol)

So then i called my mechanic and went through my list. The dubsta wasnt on the list. Wot the hell. Looks like i had lost my fully modded dubsta. Gutted.

Tried requesting another vehicle to see if it would come back. No luck on that one either. Mechanic had lost the keys to my garages as well now. Lol

Anyway i went back to my dubsta and still couldnt get in it, so i blew it up. Got the message that my personal vehicle had been destroyed. great i cam phone insurance and get it back.

Nope not that easy. Wasnt on the list either. Strange as hell. Anyway i decided to take the loss on the chin and go modify a different dubsta. Just before i got to customs. I got the message from my mechanic saying my personal vehicle had been delivered. What???? To where i had left it earlier. Wierd (Reckon the mechanic found the keys at last)

Now that was one strange glitch. Anyone else had wierd things happen while spawning for dubstas???

With me doing finals this week, I haven't had a chance to go over to Tonga valley but I'll take your word for now. I'll need a screenshot and more in depth info before sending the goons over.

As for the truck doing that, I have nothing. Not my expertise. That's weird.

Goofy The Scot

Have to agree with STN357, i only use DOS for Dubsta spawning as it's far more reliable in my experiences than any of the other time-locked missions whether spawning solo or in a group. Yes, it does take an extra 5 mins or so (compared to the other time-locked missions where there isn't a countdown timer) blowing up the vans, but once you're finished spawning you can easily finish the mission and get a few extra pennies and RP.

Interesting findings regarding player RP while doing the multi-spawn airport LSC method too - klutch14u, could that be the reason your buddy's spawn streak died while i was able to continuously spawn them? BTW, if you ever need a refill and i'm online just message me mate :)

Freak - you need to employ a better mechanic mate lol

P.S. with regards to the solo-spawning method on the bridge, i've always had better success while driving the Dubsta rather than parking it up as bait.

I think it's situational because I have 2 garages for spawning cars and selling them. Some players keep a single spot open. That's all preference. Using the single player mode to spawn is cool and I get it, there are a ton of lone wolves out there. That's why I made that video to help them out. If someone wanted a single way to get them, keep doing laps around like the thousand other videos suggest.

I always keep at least 4 dubstas and one of every other lucrative spawn vehicles. ( Dominator, SK, and sentinel). The rest of my garage fills up with whatever comes up from spawns.

Periodically there are rare spawns other than outside the LS Custom shops but they are very very rare. Therefore I would not rule out you finding a Dubsta2 at the White Water Activity Center. However I wouldn't recommend anyone wasting time trying to spawn Dubsta2's anywhere other than the 3 LSC's in Los Santos (Burton, Le Mesa and LSIA), even the custom shop spawns are tricky for some people!
