jpd
Ok, here's one for all you PC lovers: We all know that gtavc is 'coming soon' for the pc, what is your best guess for the minimum/reccomended pc spec requirements? You know, processor, ram, video etc... I've been away from computers for a while and need to upgrade! might as well be ready! TIA, jpd
Zottekop
I think not much more then the requirements for GTA3, but I'll make a guess: minimum: 600mhz 32MB videocard 128MB RAM newest directx that will do it I think...but... recommended: 1ghz 64MB videocard 256MB RAM newest directx as well
matrixreloaded
well IMHO the specs will be Athlon 20254ghz 3000mb PC9800 memory Nvidia FFFFFFFX 2000Mb DDR memory and it still will run like sh*t, just like the last PC release.

GTA3 on the pc is a million times better than on the PS2, if you have the Nvidia GeForce 4 128mb graphics card. The min spec will be, 800mhz 16MB graphics card 128MB directx 8.0 recommended: 1ghz 32MB videocard 256MB RAM
*Tony Montana*
nobody knows so why even try to guess? my old comp meets the specs of what you guys are naming and gta3 ran like sh*t...you're gonna need a comp better than that for vc
GTA3Freak-2001
I heard in a article somwhere before the PS2 version came out that they used a updated version of the Renderware engine that fixed a problem that was in GTA3. Apprantly the game engine in GTA3 rendered everything around you even if you couldn't see it, so they apprantly fixed it when they made Vice. So hopefully that was the reason why GTA3 ran so sh*t on some computers even when they met the requirements meaning that Vice on PC won't be so buggy. But I think it will have the same or similar specs as GTA3 did, but hopefully without the bugs.
Earthbound
my old comp meets the specs of what you guys are naming and gta3 ran like sh*t...you're gonna need a comp better than that for vc My computer is preety average and still runs GTA3 without any problems at all. My computer is a: Pentium 4 1.4GHZ NVidia GeForce4 128MB MX460 128MB RAM But I think GTA Vice City's requirements should be: REQUIREMENTS 800MHz 16MB VidRAM 128MB RAM RECOMMENDATIONS 1.3GHz 64MB VidRAM 256MB RAM FOR BEST PERFORMANCE 2.0GHz 128MB VidRAM 512MB RAM Just threw that last one in for fun

Ashwin
The specs here are way too high, not many people have high spec computers, the market for pc gaming is for average comps. Check my specs they are realistic. ^^^
kman2003ko
while really the same sine vc has pations of the same engine as gta3 i'll said the same as gta3 look @ the botton of gta3 on pc box for more. So don't get any idea's for a video card that don't work while for gta3 don't expect it to work while with VC to.
Joey.Leone
I have an intel celeron and GTA3 runs fine on mine, and celerons arent 'state of the art' by any means.
itsjake88
You can make your computer better than PS2 by not buying a PS2 and spend your $300 on computer components. ...:::THINK:::... $ony

Not sure if that's it....because the ps2 doesn't have a bunch of ram at all....Plus it's easier to code a game where everyone will use the exact same components (ps2) than with a pc where everyone is different...
