djx Posted February 10, 2003 Share Posted February 10, 2003 i had 3 humorous things just happen. first i steal a cab, and usually the cab driver starts to come over to pull you out. but when i hit R3, he was my fare. and he wanted to go to kauffman cabs. then i pick up a dude and drove him all the way across town. he gets out and 2 cops immediately start to chase him down and beat the crap outta him. and last i was on the main stretch in little hav. when my fare was a dude that just ran over someone with his car. guess he wanted to get the hell outta there. Duce Posted February 11, 2003 Share Posted February 11, 2003 I think its funny when you get a fare thats the cabbie that you just jacked... Also, to use the cab service to get to your mission and then steal the cab when you get there. One thing I've found that could be useful if you're having trouble finding fares (or oing things that require civs, like the "Distribution" mission), is that the game makes customerrs randomly out of the ones seen on the screen, meaning if you see a guy on a motorcycle, and you ram him off, when he gets back up if hes the only ped then he will become a customer. Just a thought, maybe its not completely true as I have not tried it alot yet, but it could help if you're running out of time during certain missions of this sort.
