Deathmatch issues? Why people don't like them?

I would personally never believe someone's claims without video evidence. People that I've known for a longer time however, I trust. Because knowing their attitudes, I know which people on my Friend List would lie and which wouldn't.

It's difficult to play a game like GTA and treat it too seriously though, especially freemode in my experience, any player that attaches rules of combat engagement in freemode is either taking roleplay too seriously or needs to get a life and get used to it. I hardly play it, but I've been accused of cheating in the past for using a sniper, for using driveby and for being 'cheap' by placing a sticky bomb.... it's really about 'freedom', and unless you're an arsehole and you're going under the map to kill players from a glitch like that, then all is fair in my view. Organised games with rules though, that's when you can start preaching about rules, and you will be hard pressed to find a crew more legit, more fair than the Damned in the competitive circles, I and other senior members have done all we can to stop persistent modded players from joining, but when you have over 15,000 requests to join and a lot of free aimers being as they are, it's difficult at times.

Yes it's very difficult. I completely agree. People taking the game too seriously is a valid issue. Especially those that will Choose The Easy Way out every encounter they face or RPG'ing themselves when being sniped at. Wall breaching and invincible Lazer Jets, while it is in the game, those are features that Rockstar never intended for players to use. It's crews like that, that usually beg on their knees for crew battles because deep down they know how pathetic they really are and knowing that they can use exploits such as Corner Shooting, Modded Accounts with infinite snacks or Fast Run in any Forced + Pickups Deathmatch, you can't really take them seriously. People like that surely need to get a life if they think using exploits makes them believe that they're above everyone else. I'm assuming they avoid real life knowing that it doesn't contain exploits or modders.

 

You'd have to know legitimate crews that can back up their claims in offering a fair Deathmatch but those are hard to find. Too many crews using every exploit they can find to win, make a cropped video about it and post it on YouTube.

I've been accused of cheating by killing players repeatedly with Heavy Sniper instead of a Marksman Rifle or shooting out an Insurgent driver with an Assault Rifle. Some people have difficulties comprehending the fact that there are others better than them.

 

Of course there's Honorable and Respectful crews such as Rezylo where we're affiliated with the GTA Player Haters and as their motto follows ''Kill With Skill'' goes well under every member of our hiearchy as we don't condone to the usage of Modded Accounts, God Mode or Invincible Lazer Jets. Those are our prey. We've had multiple succesful hunting sessions so far where our enemies became obsessed with trying to kill us and failing miserably. They'll even post about us online. Sometimes even people we never encountered before but we're fed with lies from others. We can't help but laugh at their idiocy at that.

 

It is a pity how some crews are lead by people too incompetent to know what their crews are really like. Too much time in a virtual world can easily corrupt the weak minded especially if they're living outside of society like on a farm for example.

So reading through the comments I'm very encouraged that some of you frown upon the RPG v Rifle folks and on top of that they wear helmets. LMAO.

Last night I got in a match and the entire group of enemies all had helmets on, no problem, just planned on being more tactical and smart.

But you guessed it, all these dudes did was climb on rooftops and shoot 60 RPGS at me and the clueless random teammates, I swear one of them had to be five fuggin years old because how the fug do you not change your tactic?

I was so frustrated I almost......gulp, put my helmet on.

But realized this is a crew that needs the wins desperately and could only laugh at my 10th death thanks to an RPG, the helmet would've been useless. RPG kill! Real skill there.

Worst part is that they were all 400+ ranked.

I wish motherfuggers wouldn't make guys ranked like me (331) look like cheap-kill artists.

I mean, by Rank 200 you should be hardcore killer that needs no bullet-proof helmet or RPGs to get your kills.

But all one has to do to realize what people appreciate more is to compare one of my tactical DM videos to a video that has 1,000 more likes and all it is some dude behind cover, camping with an RPG. I'm always like, "dude my vid has me in a 4v1 encounter and I manage to kill all of them before I go out with the fourth guy. Do people not see the reflexes!" lol.

 

When my crew was intact, man, we had the best matches, it always came down to who got those head shots in.

Anyways I got long-winded, all I really intended to say was, I'm encouraged by all the feedback in here and I hope maybe we could start our own legit DM community, after all we are the damn GTAV forum.

Yes, modded players are idiots and freemode is full of players deciding to enjoy the game however they please, I believe H8ER labels players as scrubs if they don't play to a particular etiquette, I admire this, but then again I have little interest in freemode, I prefer playlists, and a mix of modes.

Yeah check my channel out, the last crew battle I uploaded, against GATO, a crew that approached the Damned, because they knew they would get a fair game.

 

 

 

Video isn't cropped, it's cut and edited to about 7 minutes, showing kills and deaths, otherwise 3 games of 10 minutes would be a bit too much.

 

Cornershooting is part of the game sadly, it can be countered through rushing though, free aim allows this, as does teamwork.

 

As for incompetent leaders living on farms, perhaps they're just too busy working on the farm to fully invest the time some people have to make sure every single member that joins, shares the same core values at the heart of the crew, nothing to do with 'weak minds'

Rockstar should employ someone like McKeever to monitor the created content, and give him the power to delete dodgy sh*t like those spawn trap maps.

There are a lot of great maps out there, sadly they do not get played enough and the matchmaking is diabolical.

you know what R* should do....eliminate the bullet-proof helmet if you are glitching clothing, body parts, bought your stats, have a K/D above 3.0, and are above 300 Rank, or better yet, make the helmets like the armor. You can only carry 10 helmets and they get used up like the armor already in the game.

I think changes like that would help our situation.

That's why I'm thinking we might have no choice but to start our own Deathmatch Society.

If no one will start it, I guess I can research tonight how the PS4 communities really work and come up with some sort of game plan.

I don't want to start something up only to have to abandon it because of lack of interest from people.

I think the problem with death matches is not the death match itself its when you play with random players who use only RPGs and look like they belong in Call of Duty oh and I hate those DM where you have to climb obstacles to get to the weapons and the next 15 mins is just being helplessly shot at is massively boring and slightly annoying so I just leave straight away. its best to play with friends and people you know but I just prefer to do missions and heists instead

It just comes down to the type of person. As you mention people with modded accounts, I see what you mean. Rockstar needs to find a way to patch those miscreants. I know a few crews that claim being legit but after viewing solid evidence by my own eyes, it's incredible how some people believe their own lies. GTA definitely attracts some fairly sociopathic people with pathological liar issues.

 

Completely agree on the fact that most crews don't have any values. I would personally never accept fighting against a crew that I know uses exploits, trash talks and acts hypocritical in everything they do. It's become a common stand point for most combat competitive crews on GTA and it's due to Rockstar's severe lack of balancing. It's a waste of time fighting a modded crew with a mentality of a ghetto kindergarten. Can't help but pity them.

 

Jet Sniping can be a challenge. Although it loses it's remark when there's people doing the 1v1 Deathmatch Glitch where even if you snipe a jet down, he'll just respawn in one.

Of course, but I would say it's then silly to expect others to believe those person's words. Just because Player X says something happened, it doesn't necessarily make it so. Concrete video evidence is needed and the "concrete" part is important. This is something that all these sad "exposed" pricks don't understand. Concrete evidence entails obtaining a screenshot from the accused player which indicates that they have mods, not a video showing the accuser getting killed in a way that seems fishy. I will believe my friends, of course. However it would be silly to then take that as scientific fact and expect Jane and John Doe to believe it too.

 

I know what you mean. I recall one former member of my crew attempting to pressure us into a crew battle by claiming that his modded crew mates would be removing their mods. I am still not entirely sure that that is possible or why we would ever play against such filth even if they did get clean. He knew his crew was modded and yet he badgered us for a game, once we found out that they were modded he continued trying to get me to agree to let such scum play against us. As though they wouldn't try to pull a fast one some other way, lol. It was quite entertaining. Luckily we are done with him and I am sure that other respected crews, such as the noble Rezylo, would never allow such a miscreant in. I will miss his knack for seeing qualities of Harry Potter characters in other people, though...

 

I know exactly what you mean. God bless the RAF for not being like us and thinking "oh no they'll just keep sending Me109s." We'd all be speaking German, hating black people and there'd be like half as many Jewish comedians around as there are now. That will to win is a rare trait, it's easy to lament the enemy for not fighting on our terms, rather than finding a way to actually emerge victorious. There is always a way, if you're smart enough.

Well, I know that my crew is trustworthy, I have been with them for almost a year after all, and in all that time, I have not met one member that uses/used mods, my crew consists of good fair players with only 1 or 2 in the Bad Sport pool

BP helmets cause a hit to the head to give as much damage as a body shot, except for a small hitbox in the face area.

I came from IV as a complete Free aim enthusiast, preferring TDM's over races, my issues with TDM's all stem from before the ability to choose between owned and pick ups, I remember the early days of being rank 10 - 20 (this is before all the free handouts now available at this level) and going in to TDM's only armed with a pistol and the sh*tty smg, and being demolished by players with RPG's and mini guns, it was around this point I focused on the racing more and haven't looked back since.

 

For me IV shooting mechanics were better, (minus the corner shooting) and for current gen there are far more superior shooters if I wanted to get my killing kicks I look elsewhere, however I will join the odd silly tdm

I have an issue with the RPG's mainly because if I get teamed up with someone who loves their 'trusty' RPG, they will, without a shadow of a doubt. kill themselves countless times (of course they also screw themselves over with proximity mines alot or so I've seen).

It doesn't make sense to me pull out a weapon like that (especially in DMs set in tiny arenas with a sh*t ton of obstacles to accidentally hit) because the chance of you hitting them instead of blowing yourself up is low.

As much as I enjoy playing well created jobs, I would definitely take better matchmaking over the job creator.
