I noticed when tuning my Sultan earlier that there was a super option in the transmission category. Was this added with this update and only for these cars or has it been there a while? I took my Osiris and Entity XF to LSC to see if it was available for other supers (at least these two), but no such option was there.

good to see that rockstar once again completely ignored the invisible body parts outfit glitches....

 

I was just in a session with 4 players that have everything but their heads invisible, and another one with his arms invisible and another player with his torso invisible, and all of which had obviously glitched levels 777, 5000, a couple of them were level 8000, and there was another player that had a k/d ratio of 8985.91 and another player and then there was a level 200 something player with a k/d ratio of something like 9834516781.15... so in one session on PS4 there was at least 7 obvious cheaters...

 

good going Rockstar with once again completely ignoring the cheaters and the exploits.

Personally I'm f*cking sick of it, they should all be wiped and all transfers should have a waiting period where they are checked stats wise. Nobody has a legit 100+ KD at rank 5000 odd, it's just retarded.

 

 

And to those who say "ohhh it doesn't effect you stop whining", every level up after rank 100 increases your health cap even further, so if you're rank 5000, you have a rediculous amount of health available compared to a legit level 700.

 

C'mon guys, play the f*cking game as intended not as some bullsh*t "I'm going to keep doing this till it's patched" carry on. The community over the last few months has been so toxic half of my friends don't even play anymore.

Passive mode

I spent the entire day in Passive mode parked in front of Benny's with my RS to see what people would do with their.

As you can imagine, at some point the inevitable free roam warriors showed up with whether it was with Tanks, Jets, buzzards or Kurumas. Judging by all the hate mails ive received, not being able to be blown up surely pissed them off therefore made this update even more enjoyable for me.

 

And surprisingly, most people i saw went into passive mode aswell to park next to me and check eachothers cars. We were up to 10 passive players parked in there at some point, with a guy in a buzzard flying around unable to do anything to us.

 

Wait ... wait ... are you telling me that some random players got together and actually had fun, comparing each others' cars????

 

Well, that's got to stop. GTA Online is a twitch shooter, full of overpowered weapons, intended to cause maximum rage and grief. Please stop having fun with your cars, or Rockstar's going to come in and nerf it.

Yep it was added when you upgrade to the new super class of the car.

Makes me kinda feel like there was meant to be either a twin turbo upgrade for the banshee or something to that effect, but maybe it was pulled at the last minute?

That's not the only livery you know. There other ones as well that can turn your Banshee into a good looking drift car and Sultan into a rally Subaru. I'd like to see these features for more cars, like Penumbra, Elegy, Warrener. 2 door Warrener would be awesome, The 4 door version is kinda meh for me.

 

Some people have lousy taste. A friend of mine made his Banshee look very nice. Too bad it's slow and cost him a ton of cash to do it.

I'm glad some people are happy about this update, but as far as I'm concerned, there's nothing in it for me. Here's what I wish R* would do: Instead of trying to invent new stuff all the time, I'd love some new Contact Missions and Heists. Also, for f*ck's sake, there's only a handful of Survivals, and a million of everything else. Jeez, give us a Survival Creator if you don't want to make 'em yourself. How hard could that be?

However they are still locked.

"Till Death Do Us Part" adversary mode is coming with the new valentines update.

Keep in mind, this small yet costly update may be a R* move to make you spend a good chunk of money.

A larger update may be coming sooner than expected, thus those with smaller bank accounts may feel rushed to by SCs.

 

 

 

As for the Banshee's speed reduction, at the minimum it FEELs like it.

As well, the Turbo sound doesn't seem to be as noticeable anymore (if you have it installed).

 

Considering this is Wide Body racing modification.

It would make sense that it's speed takes a hit, however handling needs significant improvement if so.

Otherwise it's visual only, which isn't realistic....wide body kits have significant impacts on car performance in real life.

This is what R* said on the newsfeed about the new upgraded cars.

 

 

When fully modded, the Sultan RS and the Banshee 900R can even compete with top tier Supercars like the Zentorno and T20.

It depends on the track and the skill of the driver, a few of my crewmates took out our new fully modded Sultans for a race, opened up the lobby to randoms. There were 10 of us. 5 in Sultans, the rest a mix of Zentorno's a T20 and an Entity.

 

The race finished with the top 4 all being Sultans with the final Sultan in 7th.

 

So Rockstar is kind of right in someway but if you have capable drivers on a track suited to the typical supercar then the new modded sports cars will have no chance at all.

Yeah I guess that's true as well, if I took the sultan vs random newb I could probably easily beat the newb.

But if I took the sultan vs someone like I guess oleg in a t20, I would be destroyed big.

Please explain -- faster in a straight line or faster around a track? I just put my suspension back to stock on the RS and the only difference I'm noticing is she's not going airborne every time I run over a curb...which is what I expected since that's been the case for the Turismo and Elegy.

Sorry that was about 2am I was gone not longer after that. Should have been clearer. When you 'slam' the cars (shoot at the disc till the suspension drops twice) then the banshee had a much higher speed similar to super cars. Was like handbrake boosting but not actually doing it. Useless for turning in a slammed banshee but good for getting some big power slides going. Did a load of runs against non slammed. Sultan vs sultan. Banshee vs banshee. Banshee vs most supers.

Why is the standard Banshee faster than the new 900R, doesn't make sense.

Wide-bodykits improve handling & traction, sacrificing speed.

R* didn't implement handling/traction improvements though.

 

The actual Benny's conversion mod is a class conversion only.

Generally that's a realistic advantage with some performance cars, when they are lower.

Lowered cars go faster? Wow. how exactly does lower suspension increase engine power? If you mean correctly set up suspension fir example fully adjustable suspension set up for a particular race track yeah...but putting your car on shorter springs doesn't give you any extra speed at all.

I agree 100% it's f*cking bullsh*t from lame as mofo's that have modded accounts. Rockstar needs to up their anti-cheat game to analyze players stats and income to make them aware of a modded account.

My Red Suns/Project D Banshee. Feels like it's still missing something though. I'm not too bothered by the Banshee being a small amount slower, I didn't use it in races anyway. It's pretty and that's good enough for me. If R* fixes it and makes it faster, that'll just be a bonus.
