Baby thought so was a very scary doll. But she wasn't a doll. She smiled, but it was artificial... programmed. "Do we have to watch this thing? Why?" asked Bernie, the small old man who crawled on the floor in a sleeping bag. A women entered the dull room, and soon it became visible that the entire room was littered with old people. They were huddled all around each other. Dirty socks, smelly cheese feet, old farts slowly easing up through the sheets. It was magic to baby thought so.. as nobody had known of her existence before this situation. She had previously been ditched underneath the bed sheets, for decades.

 

"I'm alive and well," she spoke, as her tongue hissed.

 

The women was holding a hot pot of stew, and tossed it at baby thought so.

 

"Noooo!" the doll screamed, as plastic on it melted on the cotton fabric of the clothing.

 

They all tried to make a dash out of the old, broken down barn. But the doors were locked.. somebody had locked them. One old chap thought it'd be smart to use fire as a way to weaken the barn timber. "You f*cking dickhead!" screamed an old Irish women. Baby thought so climbed out of the flaming heap of dead old people, and crawled up onto a rafter.. watching the flames below.. crackling softly in the midnight wind.

 

Headlights pulled up over the crescent in the paddock. A warning shot was heard, "Who's there?" screamed a raspy male voice.

 

The fire was out at this point, and black smoke flew about in the darkness of the night.
