[IV / V] Do Graphics Mods Put Additional Stress on the GPU?

Hello all.

 

I'm just curious to know since I want to add some graphics mods to my game, but at the same time, my GPU already puts a lot towards playing V. If I add a graphics mod, will it put more stress on the GPU or is it mostly cosmetics that won't change how much effort my GPU puts into the game? I'd like to know this for both V and IV TBH.

What's your PC specs?

I think they do

 

I use Project Reload and my specs are

 

i7-4790K

Gigabyte GTX 980Ti

16GB Ram

and wabababa

 

and FPS drops about 4-7FPSes

Nothing Major will happen unless you jam pack your game with 4k textures. Computer specs also matter but for the most part dont expect anything major

Since it was asked:

 

Processor: Intel i7-4770K 3.2GHz

GPU: NVidia GeForce GTX 760 Ti OeM (2GB vRAM)

Memory: (x2) 8GB DDR3

PC: Alienware X51 (I'm aware that Alienware is not welcomed by the PC community due to high pricing and less reputable builds)

 

I mostly used graphics mods such as CryENB, iceEnhancer, Vision ENB, and a few other ENBs. Just wanted to know if using them will lessen the lifespan of my GPU and if it puts more stress on the GPU by running these? I'll try to stay away from 4K textures then.
