Cargo Bob hook

Is the cargo Bob hook broken?

 

Tried hooking my car up or submarine to transport to different parts of the map and the vehicles only stay attached for 15 seconds then fall off?

This has been brought up countless times, at least once a day on here. It has been broken since at least the lowriders update. I't likely won't be fixed as the majority believe it was intentionally put this way so players couldn't steal another players car with the cargobob and put it in the water, on the rooftop, etc. Word on the street is, It still works if a player is in the car that you are trying to lift. It also will not pickup the insurgent or tank any longer. I hope this helps.

Cheers, I remember years ago they patched it so you couldn't lift other players cars I think, Hopefully they sort it it's really annoying not being able to lift the sub from Sandy shores to the ocean now

Personally, I think it was an intentional change (as said above), but it's also buggy. I know, bugs in GTA - f*cking shock and f*cking horror!

 

I only say this because despite it dropping everything you pick up most of the time, I did very recently pick up my bike and fly it to the top of the Maze Bank Tower, so neither time or height made any difference to that.

 

Who knows? You could ask Rockstar.

But... it never mattered if players could snatch your vehicle anyways. The moment they got a few blocks away you can just request your PV and you get a fresh new one. While the guy in the cargobob flys away laughing, thinking hes trolling only has a dead pv.

 

 

And the cargo bob still being broken and still not legit for sale is sort of bullsh*t at this point. Like wtf?>

I can 100% confirm that it works fine if there is a player in the car that you are lifting. I lifted one of one of my friends personal vehicles with him in the car a couple of days ago, and was able to go from the far end of the runway at Sandy Shores Airfield and drop him on to the roof of the hanger with no issues.

If it was intentional they should remove the missions that require the cargo Bob. The crate stayed on longer than 15 seconds but eventually dropped on its own. Resulting in a failed mission.

one day in the past, I hooked up a tank with a player in it preparing for a massacre and put it in the ocean.I felt like sheriff that day. Now what I see is a stupid logic ruining this game.Let players use stupid homing launchers against innocent airplanes,use tanks to kill others and destroy personal vehicles but cargobob is forbidden...

I've completed docks to stocks recently. So its not all encompassing issue with it.

I can carry my cars with my pegasus cargobob did so with Tampa on yacht not to long ago
