RomanBOY123
Hello,I haven't played GTA V for a long time, but I've installed it on my PC yesterday and notice that vehicles can fix themselvesFirstly, I crash in the wall and the car breaks down, but when I clip a wall or smth else again, it automatically returns to its original state.Only scrathes. What should I do? And also I've another problem. GTA V launches only on DX10. I change it to DX11, do a restart, but the game uses DX10 again, Why? Laptop: Intel HD4000, ATI HD 7970M. A time ago it was ok,
Uncle Sikee Atric
Corrupted file somewhere.... If it is a legit Steam edition, verify your files.
DigitalNikki
Is there a commadline.txt in your GTA folder? If there is what is the contents? Try starting GTA by running GTA5.exe. If you use a shortcut make sure there are no extra commandline options. If you have the social club version you can use the command line option -verify to verify your game. Read here for more inormation https://support.rockstargames.com/hc/en-us/articles/202518358-Available-Command-Lines-for-GTAV-on-PC The shortcut I use has this for the command line. "C:\Games\Grand Theft Auto V\GTAVLauncher.exe" -StraightIntoFreemode This shortcut launches GTA directly into GTA Online in freemode. RomanBOY123
I'm using the RGSC version on physical DVD. Not a steam. No, I haven't commandline, but for what? It should works fine without this
Uncle Sikee Atric
Use the command line for the SC edition to verify.... It cross references your vital files against a default database. If there is a corruption it will over write your corrupted files to fix any faults it finds.
RomanBOY123
Nothing, I've already reinstall the game. Also, there's a strange thing. When I change DX version from 10 to 11, then restart the game, it does nothing and still stay on DX10. My videocard suppots DX11
DigitalNikki
Use the command line to verify your game. It wont hurt, you can say you verifyed it, and stop guessing that there is not a file problem. Edited January 18, 2016 by ChevyOwner
Uncle Sikee Atric
It could be your personal saved settings that are not deleted during a reinstall....
