GTA V vehicle mod replacement with other vehicles

Hello,

I have a bit of problem, as i download some kind of car mod lets say golf 7 and get files to replace the original vehicle lets say exemplar.yft , .ytd , .... but i want to replace it with blista.yft becouse it looks similar, so i changed name mod folder from exemplar.yft to blista.yft and replaced all files with originals, and it worked, blista had golf mod, but when i try with different vehicle mods i wont work, is there any vehicle mod installer that would let you install vehicle mod on any vehicle ???

You'd have to rename each individual customization item to match with the car you're replacing. You probably just renamed the exemplar_mods.rpf folder. That won't do anything because the carcols.meta file doesn't match the mods. What I do is put the new customization folder in openIV and drag all of the car mods out into file explorer. Then you have to rename the mods so they match what the old car mods say. Example:Exemplar_roof1---->Blista_roof1. If you don't understand I can probably do it for you. Just let me know.
