Saving Lamar Mission outfits

just tried to save an outfit during a mission which cannot be purchased. but upon returning to free-mode it was not there. did they patch it and if they did are there other ways of obtaining it? particularly the corset the female player wears during select lamar missions. any help would be appreciated.

Hmm, if this worked like the way to obtain a cop outfit, then you need a friend in a race lobby and once you have finished the lamar mission and are on the voting screen, make sure nobody votes and count the timer down in your head from around 15 seconds or so as you join your friend through your party on your console AFTER the timer hits 0, so your counting needs to be good. You then click yes to join new session and then back out of the race lobby and you may have it. This may not work with missions though and only adversary modes may work but i guess it's worth a try.

Yes, they did patch it, and as far as I know there aren't any other known ways to keep the corset.

What a shame, I had a feeling. I hope they bring back the V-day DLC this year. Thanks for your help.

Unfortunately, there is no vote screen after the lamar missions, you just go back to free roam. Good idea though!

Hmm, I gave it a shot again but this time I changed out some of the items from the set outfit with some of my own and then saved it. I'm pleased to report I was able to save that outfit and keep the corset top.

That does work however keep in mind that the blacklist is still in operation in the background so the game might delete the save outfit

or cause issues with saving legit outfits from this point on.

Thank you for that info. I believe this corset is part of the first valentines day dlc, so its an officially released (but limited) item so it should not trip any alarms, hopefully.

Agree. However Valentines Clothes are on the blacklist if you don't have the content officially so just keep an eye to make sure it sticks.
