Radar blips need to show above or underneath you. GTA IV comparison.

I'm sure we all have this issue during any moment where somebody happens to be on the floor above or underneath you. GTA IV's blip will show you if somebody's above you or underneath by using an up or down arrow inside of their blip. It's a standard for communication isn't it?

Nahh give me a hardcore freeroam with no hud/radar or once you get within 1 mile thier blip dissappears, that'd be good.

only in deathmatches, LTS, and other competitive game modes. In freeroam, the arrow feature only works if you are in an aircraft. So for all the "hurr durr, play the game stupid" comment perhaps look in the mirror. I've noticed most of the so called "best or leet" players on here don't have a clue as to what they are talking about, and the majority are skript kiddies and or game exploiters.

The blips should not even be shown all the time in free roam anyways... Just be glad the games spoon feeding you player locations as it is...

 

At least in death matches and LTS you can play with some sort of stealth tactics even if it does show up and down much clearer when your blip shows up.

Up and down arrows? Fine by me, as long as blips disappear within a 2 block radius and only show up when you fire an unsilenced weapon or sprint.

yes and make the players glow in the dark so you know were to aim to.

 

IMO players shouldnt show on the mini-map, or at least only show after making noise (shots/explosions), it would make the game mutch more interesting
