Time Trial #19 - "Vinewood Bowl"

Well I finally managed it, using the route I'd decided upon when I first saw the map at work this morning. It was tricky, and I definitely could have shaved a few seconds off, but I've finally got to do some stunting (albeit basic), and took a route through Fort Zancudo.

I got just under 2:56, and I both hated and loved doing this

My god...this was the worst time trial. Now i just hate even more the sh*tty way that cars spawn and the worst physics in gta series

Good lord, that's a fun route. And now I know two new, creative ways in and out of Ft. Zancudo.

Could have easily been a 2:52-53 if I hadnt f*cked it all up right at the end.

 

Used the railroad tracks and got off just behind the sawmill, I'll upload the vid tomorrow. Well, I will probably try for a better time first.

Well, my first few attempts on the Bati went....swimmingly. Literally haha. I knew that was gonna happen that's why I didn't attempt in my T20. Got it on the 4th try, 2:55.

Took a couple tries on a lunch break to get 20 seconds under par. 02:38.428, and can (easily) be improved from this run. At least sub-2:35 is very possible. Waiting for oleg.

Did it in 2:57 using the Bati. How people are doing this with ^20 seconds to spare is beyond me.

I intend to try it a bit more and see if I can do it flawlessly, just to see how much I can shave off. There's at least half a dozen things that went wrong in that run so I should at least get it into the 2:40s.

Yeah train tracks is by far the fastest way from what I can tell.

I'm getting closer to sub-2:35

I made some mistakes after exiting the tunnel and some just before the goal.

Decided to not enter the goal though so I could quick restart.

1: When I go up on the Train Tracks I hit the first bridge at 1:22, My best is like 1:19 mybe 1:18

2: I had the cops after me until I hit the Train Tracks, So I couldn't wheelie along the road as much as I wanted.

3: I had no idea how to do the end good, but I think I did it decent enough, could probably be better.

4: Since I had to slow down to turn after exiting the Train Tunnel, I figured why not wait like 1 second and just take the easy way in to the sawmill.

5: (End Bonus) Good lord I hate npcs after this. Almost always being just in the intersection when I'm gonna do the last turn before the Train Track part.
