Btw, Is it just me or can anyone else use weapons during the Time Trial and no longer is in passive during the it?

2:48.883 on my first try and I could have easily shaved off a couple more seconds but I slowed right down at the end so I didn't fly into the water. I must say I had an extremely clean run.

Tried it several times in the T20 using various routes - couldn't get it to happen my quickest time was still 3+ seconds slow

Canyon Route
1st Try: Crash on bush, get my ass up and get hit by oncoming car and die, have to drive all the f*cking way back
2nd Try: exactly 1 second over par

Tries on Bati

Now trying Tunnel Route
1st Try: traffic accidents
2nd Try: eat sh*t on bush, get up, eat sh*t on tree and die.
3rd Try: eat sh*t on rock, go flying, die.

That's too much driving back for me, gonna have to wait to try it later through the canyon, seems less hazardous.

My video is uploading. I used a few shortcuts that may or may not be common knowledge. Would be easy to crush my time as I messed up in a few places, notably at the beginning and end.

 

I'll reserve this space for later.

I'd love to do these time trials but I seem to be plagued with this curse where if I'm going fast for an extended period of time it freezes for 5/6 seconds but keeps me in the same position, yet the timer keeps going up. Times that by 5/6 times and I can never get there in time.

My experience with this time trial so far:

This was an easy run. Got it on my first complete try, although I did take a trial run to test my route and explore possible shortcuts (found they weren't necessary). If you're only looking to beat the time the route the game plots out for you is pretty fair and the par time is generous. I was quite conservative through the canyon. My only risky move was jumping the highway and going over the hill to the finish.

2:51 using the train tracks, could probably go faster but I slowed down towards the end to make sure I didn't crash

Excellent route Rockstar! Maybe the time limit is not that tough, but finally a long one which is not entirely on Highway.

 

 

 

 

...and as always, I didn't watch any videos beforehand. I tried the Highway route by turning right in the beginning and just cruising through the west side, but it was not quick enough. I also tried the canyon route, but it's annoying. There is also the Pacific Elite route where you take the train tracks but jump from the little hole to that canyon road. That would save some seconds. Nice to see some of you have completed this using the GPS route.
