NintendoFanboy
It is on sale for $8.99 for PlayStation Plus members right now and the trilogy is only $17.99, so I just bought it. Any feedback on it?
Inadequate
It's not a PS4 REMASTER version, it's the PS2 version on a PS2 emulator running on the PS4. Igor Bogdanoff
Official General
It's the exact same PS2 game, but with smoother, cleaner graphics in HD resolution. But it does look significantly better than the original PS2 game. Edited January 17, 2016 by Official General
gts.
The game are very smoother (always on 30fps) compared to the PS2 release (30fps-20fps if I'm not wrong). Doesn't have cleaner graphics, the graphics still the same, they are only upscaled to 1080i (it's why that looks very clean and nice) and the dumb trophies which are totally based on stats instead of in-game events. A very optimized PS2 emulator for PS4. Edited January 17, 2016 by gts.
lol232
It's not a PS4 REMASTER version, it's the PS2 version on a PS2 emulator running on the PS4. ...Does that mean you can play original PS2 saves on the PS4 emu and vice versa?

Lethal Vaccine
...Does that mean you can play original PS2 saves on the PS4 emu and vice versa? Probably not, if you mean PS2 V1. I don't even know many people with PS2 V1 only V2 and Greatest Hits and such. As well as PC, Mobile, Xbox, Xbox360, PS3 Digital, PS4 Digital, etc, etc, etc. All of these are different file formats and won't work. If I downloaded the PS3 Digital Version, it wouldn't be compatible with my PS2 V1 Copy, that plays in the Backward Compatible PS3 with the Physical PS2 Disc. Nothing is compatible, in other words. I only played for 20 minutes, but boy it was great to be in SA again You can use cheats, but I think if you use them you lose the trophies, I'm not sure about this though because I've not played the PS4 version yet. I don't think so, but probably is possible, only the future we will tell us. Plus I don't know which version are embedded to the emulator, but I feel is the PS2 V2 which if I'm not wrong is the same version as Greatest Hits. EDIT: Someone can confirm if is the PS2 V2? If the Market Cluckin Bell radar icon is fixed or LV glitched Pay N Spray is removed it is the PS2 V2/Greatest Hits. Lethal Vaccine
I already know it's not V1. Supply Lines... glitch is fixed and you can't move CJ in the cutscene for Beatdown on B-Dup. That's already telling me it's not the ORIGINAL V1... I can move CJ in Beatdown on B-Dup cuz I have V1. On Mobile? Doesn't work. Doesn't work anywhere but PS2 V1. Supply Lines... is basically the hardest Mission in SA due to a glitch on V1 with running out a fuel. Again, they fixed this for newer Versions with V2 on up and also for the other Platforms. PS4 is the PS2 Version, but it's NOT V1.
Igor Bogdanoff
Most probably it's Greatest Hits with cut down music. Cannot be V1 not only because bugs Militia mentionted but famous Hot coffe. Lethal Vaccine
