Aesthetic era

I am thinking about a new DLC, i see one interview long time ago with someone of R* saying its not interesting for him GTA have things like the possibility of be skinny, fat or muscular. He is talking about single player.

But what about GTA online? I want new DLC when the body transformation is possible! Would love to put my character ripped.

Let's add fast foods, become fat and die of heart attacks like in SA

Seriously though, not really a fan of it. Would be awesome, but I'd rather see new activities, heists and so on, and I don't want a fifth version of The Sims

Not really a bad idea but if there has to be aesthetic additions i'd rather see ALOT of new hairstyles added before all that.

Yeah we need new hairstyles, my character needs the balding look, bald ontop with hair around the back and sides. Or maybe the balding look where you are going thin on top -

Always thought the game would be better if everyone didn't have the exact same height/body. They probably didn't want to have to adjust clothes for the different bodies.

There's already a sh*tton of problems with masks when worn by fat heads (yes, there are some heads made for overweight people on a young skinny adult body).

Would be cool, doubt it will happen tho. I'm sure it wouldn't be easy (or worth the effort) to add a whole new modification option for characters, for a 2 1/2 year old game

Imagine shooting topless midgets, because that's what I would make if given the chance.

no offence to little people

they want to make gtao grow. dont think the fact that it was released 2013 will stop them. but still, they probably won't add anything like this.

can always hope though. also we need real beards.

Characters should be able to look like they are older, maybe have like 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s and (fit) 60s age presets. Also I agree not everybody should be the same height and build. I would rather have the variety than worry about petty things like "oh but then their hit box would be 10% smaller if they're shorter, giving them an advantage!"

I'm one of the people who generally likes and advocates for more Sims-like or Second Life type of elements in GTA0. But as has been said, it ain't gonna happen in GTA0 because of the clothing models, for one thing.

But one possibly easier thing they could do, is let us select from the set of NPC models to be our character. Then perhaps they could have some limited texture selection for the clothes for these various NPCs, so we could customize a bit.

If aesthetic modifications are implemented, I won't bother with the tedious grind that is virtual exercise. Even if exercising is required to have a proper, wholesome, muscular body, everyone will have one. Examine the facts, we all run further than marathon runners, so we'll all be built like a metaphorical tank, an estimated regular intake of any unhealthy foods are little to none, and there's no legitimate way to increase your body weight.(unless you consider beating random pedestrians to increase strength "legitimate")

There is only 1 really ripped buff guy model in GTA V.

Considering all clothing items would have to have a buff and fat variant, I think avoiding body options all together.

whenever someone suggest getting fat, people always point at clothes as the main issue, but people never mention stuff like cars, they would have to work on the cars too, to prevent a fat player from clipping through the car.

imagine a fat player in a faggio, bmx, bikes in general, cars like the panto and the supers which dont have much room.

i wont mind if they add this animation tho

Gtao woud be filled with studs then...

Bad idea.

Unless they actualy made it like you needed to have 10 fistfights per gta day to keep youreself buffed to the maximum and it actualy woud make you stronger its not even an interesting idea...or a good one

I wouldn't want my character to be that buff ever. Doesn't suit him at all.

Not saying I would mind if they added something like this, because I think they should; but I am never gonna be fat or super muscley.

It wouldn't work with the clothes.

In Saints Row, the clothes are able to grow with the character model. In GTA Online, all the clothes are made to fit two body styles, male and female.

As much as I'd like to see some body enhancements, it would be too much to overhaul and rework. Like someone mentioned, clipping into cars would be a problem, some animations would have to be redone just to accommodate fat/buff players.

All I ask at this point is new hair for females and to fix the skin texture.

In the process of replaying the story mode.. Devs really need to convert some of the SP activities and side missions like "strangers and freak". Also the random event situations like driving the drunk couple home. These would be so fun to do online. Imagine that same " driving drunk couple home" mission with 32 other players gunning for you as you try.

I'm sure some missions wouldn't work online but I'm more than sure most would.

Common R*, that stuffs already in the game.

It was nice to GTA: San Andreas to make CJ in a walking heart attack, a lardo. Wish that was possible in GTA Online.

The problem with body shapes was not about interest but technical issues, to make all the clothes fit without creating new models for each. Something like that.

I might like to make my character more athletic, but I don't care much.

There should be consequences for certain lifestyle choices. Too fat you become restricted to vans and SUVs, can't fly jets, climb ladders but can take more bullets. Too skinny you struggle to wield a mini gun, fall over with a homing launcher etc.
