Now, I play with cheats, so this is assuming there arent any cops following you... Eventually he'll slip up after a few runs and slam into a wall, giving you enough time to get up ahead. I used a cheat that blows up all cars in sight and then i jacked a car and did the race solo .. but when i got to the end it said "Mission Failed!" because Hillary died ... heh, oh well but i'll try to taker slow and wait for mistakes =] Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Then, when the race starts, just drive up to the infernus, and get in. You'll be able to catch up to that bastard within minutes. Then, just stay on his ass until you get to the last turn before the bridge that leads to the Pizza Place. .Admiral Posted February 10, 2003 Share Posted February 10, 2003 I dont mean to boast, 'cos its a mugs game' lol. but i find that the driver mission is one of the easyest missions. i just can seem to beat him everytime. i have span him out on the first bend. and the other day i had the worst star ever and i still won. u just need to hit his back wheel so he spins out and just keep ur speed and get to learn the track. Just drive safely and make sure you don't fool around or miss any turns - your top speed is better than his, so if you drive well with a minimal amount of stops, you'll go faster than him. You might also need a little luck, just keep trying until he screws up at some point and lets you take the lead. Cop cheat can help. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

There really is no need for cheating with this mission...tricks/cheats, whatever..you don't need them.. It's just a matter of driving very well and finding a way of screwing up Hil's chances. I try to put over to everyone that you're best doing The Driver without the use of any cheats. It's not hard to complete it on your own, with no cheats; it just may take some time to think of a way to overcome it. The Precinct - We're upping our standards, so up yours! Tommy Corelli Posted February 13, 2003 Share Posted February 13, 2003 Well I am smart and lucky I took that long truck and parked it by the stop light not far from the start postion, anywayz the dumb fool slammed into it and spinned out and once I passed him I never saw him again.
