JZersche
Does anyone know exactly what FLAG_HAS_INTERIOR_EXTRAS does, and also what would omitting FLAG_HAS_INTERIOR_EXTRAS do? Thanks in advance. I'm also curious of FLAG_NO_BOOT, and the rest of them, but right now those two are my priority. My reason for asking is that I have a vehicle model that spawns with an extra component or two, that I don't want. They are in fact inside the interior, and I I don't want them to spawn. What could I do? lizzyten
Fireboyd78
Can you post a code example? I'm not quite sure where these "flags" go.
JZersche
http://www.gtamodding.com/wiki/Vehicles.meta It doesn't say what they do though.. Hence I was wondering if anyone else knew. lizzyten
Fireboyd78
Ah, they're from Vehicles.meta. That explains why I've never heard of these flags. Let's see -- "FLAG_HAS_INTERIOR_EXTRAS" sounds like the interior might have different kinds of stuff in it (e.g. coffee cup, soda cup, cigarette butts, etc.), or possibly bobbleheads. "FLAG_HAS_NO_BOOT" probably means it doesn't have a trunk, seeing as Rockstar is from England and they don't use the term "trunk" there. Hope this helps! That's why I said it's not in the proper section - and somehow its deleted! It was removed by moderators because you're wrong. Also was wondering what these ones did, particularly FLAG_EXTRAS_RARE, FLAG_EXTRAS_SCRIPT, and FLAG_EXTRAS_STRONG I almost feel like, RARE makes it so that the extras are rare to spawn, script I'm not sure, and strong, I feel like it makes it so more at a time spawn? ikt
Extras in GTA mean the bits and pieces that spawn on vehicles, such as the tiny spoiler on the Futa, the coffee cup holders/phone holders. This, along with some parts that spawn on vehicles but you can't remove/add by going to LS Customs/Benny's etc. These FLAG_EXTRAS_* relate to the extras the cars spawn with. These extras can be checked and set with natives: IS_VEHICLE_EXTRA_TURNED_ON and SET_VEHICLE_EXTRA. They probably mean this: FLAG_EXTRAS_ONLY_BREAK_WHEN_DESTROYED Exactly what it says, the extra pieces don't fall off when damaged. Take a Taxi for example, you can knock off the Taxi sign if this flag isn't there, but the Taxi sign will stick on until the car explodes with this flag. FLAG_EXTRAS_RARE This probably means the car rarely spawns with the extras. FLAG_EXTRAS_REQUIRE Spawn with (specified) required extras? FLAG_EXTRAS_SCRIPT Regulated by scripts? FLAG_EXTRAS_STRONG Uh, harder to knock off? Like, sirens. FLAG_EXTRAS_TAXI Taxi-specific extras. FLAG_FAKE_EXTRALIGHTSThis (probably) doesn't have to do with extras. No idea what it does since only the Regina seems to be using it. (maybe some of the DLC stuff, but too lazy to check em all) Using Native Trainer (Sjaak's) you can add/remove these under Vehicle -> Add/Remove Vehicle Components JZersche

How are natives to be used? Would I need to use a trainer and then write them in like SET_VEHICLE_EXTRA FLAG_EXTRAS_ALL for example or what? lizzyten
ikt
You'd need to script a little. Get the ScriptHookV SDK or the ScriptHookVDotNet SDK, which both have made easy-to-use functions off. The ScriptHookVDotNet is easier to work with since you can just make a small C# script and reload it after changing bits and pieces. Trainers have implemented these already however, so you can just use trainers to spawn/despawn those bits and pieces.
