Found a weird ghost car online

The car was most likely pushed or was driven by an invisible modder, you couldn't enter it because of a glitch that occasionally happens were it freezes when you open the door and then you just stand there as if you never tried to enter.

 

EDIT- It kinda looks staged as the car was parked and he looked away from it and it started to move then, as well it was driving very well and moved in a way that looks like it was being driven by an invisible player.

 

I read a comment saying you can see a person in car at 0.08 its true you can see a head and face leaning forward in car from about 0.05-0.08

 

If you pause at exactly 0.08 you can see a person, probably staged or NPC disappeared.

Most likely someone's PV who left the lobby. The AI takes over and drives around and then the guy in it vanishes or runs off.

The van is parked on the left side of the screen and no one is in there, a second or two later someone leaves the game so I'm thinking it's that guy but the "player name" left message was a bit late. So let's pretend that the guy was in the van and the left message was a little late - that still doesn't explain the engine revving up as if driving (so it can't be pushed like others said). Now the logical part of me wants to say it's not a modder/glitcher because who would drive a van in a straight line into boxes just to scare some dude? Then the gamer part of me realizes that most of us would but then the way you "enter" the vehicle you're doing it as if the seat is empty. If a glitcher was invisible, you'd most likely have to pull him out, not sit on his lap. Then again, he might've teleported outside the van but I doubt he'd be than technical about a ghost story.

Most likely a bug. An interesting bug.

I've seen driverless cars before in traffic. Happens sometimes .

Reminds me of the time I saw a blown up car slowly driving towards me from the back of Devin's airport hangar with no one in it over a year ago on 360. Next thing invisible explosions killed me. Good times.

 

Now all I encounter are invincible pricks.

this happens to me all the time but on the street. i just assumed it was a traffic bug caused by lag. car gets spawned in weird location, npc or entire car disappear, car wont let you in bugged animation

 

guess the dont know how to park their car overseas. and if a car is going 1 mph just open the door and hit the brakes. dont use yourself as a human speed bump trying to slow it down.

Its on PS4. No modders here....

LOL why the hell would I stage this? I could have uploaded the entire 5 minute clip but didn't want to bore people. Yeah looks like an NPC. I didn't notice it.

It appears to have been caused by one of those players near you having massive lag. Usually when someone that is lagging gets near you, you start to see glitchy AI and will freeze getting into cars. Blame R* for their sh*tty P2P used in GTA:Online.
