XB1 GTA V Online Question- How to play with friends in online session

My friend and I just got GTA V for the xbox one. My question is how can we play in the same online session with other random people? We don't want a session with just the two of us. We want a session where both of us are in it and there are other random online people in it.

 

Also, how do we do jobs together? Lets say we are in the same online session and we want to do the same job together, how do we stay together to do the job?

 

We are new to GTA, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Join a public session and invite your friend or have your friend join you through the Friends option in the menu.

 

You should see an option to invite players during jobs.

There's an option in the menu, just use it or make him/her invite you.

Same thing for the jobs. Create one and invite
