There's not a best muscle, it's subjective.

Personally I find the Dominator really good, but it's the only muscle I have. I've heard good things about the Nightshade and the Tampa, but mostly about their appearence.

Best in overall performance would be the Pißwasser Dominator, but that is only obtainable in Singleplayer. Using Broughy1322's 'Best Fully Upgraded Cars in GTA Online' as reference, the best muscle car (around a track) in GTA Online would be the Dominator, with the Dukes coming in second, and the Coquette Blackfin coming in third. Using Broughy1322's 'Top Speeds of Fully Upgraded Cars in GTA Online' as reference, the best muscle car (in top speed) in GTA Online would still be the Dominator. Looks are entirely subjective.

I think the top speed thread should also be pinned.

If you're looking to buy and you don't mind a load of 'standing start' wheel spin, I would get the Nightshade.

 

The Gauntlet and the Dominator are probably the easiest to drive IMO. You could take the kids to school in those.

 

But for fun, it's got to be the Nightshade.

Dominator(stock) and Dominator, respectively.

After that, your mileage may vary but I think the Coquette BlackFin is very fast as well.

GTA Online is the most visited section, and the thread being pinned there would receive more visits and people wouldn't have to keep making the same ''which car is the best'' threads over and over again.

For racing? Generally everyone says Dominator/Blade/Dukes/Blackfin.

 

For looks? Buccanneer Lowrider/Nightshade/Slamvan/Rat Truck/Hotknife/etc etc etc there are a bunch of cool looking ones.

 

For fun handling? Tampa/Nightshade/Blackfin

 

Overall? Hard to make a call on that one. I'd probably pick the Nightshade or Tampa, as they can still win races in public lobbies but I like the cars looks/handling as well.

Gauntler can be in the top but R* havent add a spoiler. Back in the day the gauntler was one of the best.

My best muscle car is the blade. It's a good mix of speed and handling. The Dominator is faster but I can't drive one to save my life.

Dominator for straights, Dukes for a mixture and blade for tight tracks.

Also no one has mentioned the ruiner as being the fastest stock.

Looks wise I love every muscle car except the gauntlet.

I own them all across both characters except the gauntlet of course.

Phoenix is for the best looking with the stock spoiler off.

I'm not sure if it's truly the best, but the Coquette BlackFin has served me very well in muscle class events. Very quick, pretty good handling for the category and I love it.

Absolutely love the Tampa but then I don't race very often, so one car being 1.7 seconds a lap faster or whatever really doesn't matter to me at all.

Wait, there are other muscle cars than the Dukes? I didn't notice, I was too busy driving my Dukes.

 

For racing: Dukes

For performance: Dukes

For looks: Dukes

For handling: Dukes

For cruising: Dukes

But the overall winner really has to be the Dukes. Closely followed by yet another Dukes.

 

A lot of people spin out when they drive muscle cars, because they forget that the trigger is analogue, not digital, and there's a large amount of middle ground between not touching the pedal, and flooring it. Go first person in your car, look at the spedometre, and slowly push down the trigger, and you'll soon get a feel for it. Ease into it when going from a standing start and you won't over-rev. Also brakes are your friend, use them.

The Dukes is a great car. I love the muscle class because it takes some real finesse to succeed.
