Why not use google translate for spanish?

Nah. Between not having spanish or translate to spanish in an awful translator, I prefer not having spanish. I can't make a translation to another language without quality. And spanish is the second (?) most spoken language in the world, there must be someone who can translate it in the future (I hope).

V FOR VINEGAR: SURVIVAL MANUAL

Check out the complete guide to survive and to progress in the MP that will be released in 2016/2017, posted in celebration after the progress get to 50% of the part 2.

V for Vinegar is a Mission Pack that will be released in 2016/2017. Being the most promising MP in the DYOM Awards 2015, the MP mix action and survival elements with a well developed gameplay and breathtaking challenges. However, the high difficulty might scare and put away some kind of players. Thinking about it, a survival manual was prepared with a collection of tips on how to survive in the MP.

Between cops, soldiers, thieves, mobsters, gang members and other survivors, Yuji and Mari will need to use different tactics to survive in a state that is four months under strong riots. Check out the tactics to deal with different types of enemies:

- Your main weapon in this MP: Silence

As already has been said before, V for Vinegar works with very scarce resources. Sometimes you’ll have only a knife, or even nothing. Always look for the route that the enemies take, and be careful with surprises along the way. Try not to walk with too much excitement.

You should also prevent weapons, since you don’t have too much ammo in the scenario. Any shot will wake up all enemies in the way. Weapons are not a guarantee that you will survive in the shootings.

- Only use your weapon if you have conviction that has ammo enough to finish the job!

Many characters will talk to you, "Make every shot worth". Well, they are not kidding. It’s always better tearing the throat of the enemy with the knife than give free cookies to everyone and everything.

Since there is not much ammo in the ambients, each lost ammo is almost a guarantee of seeing a "wasted" on the screen.

- Knives at hand, always:

The most effective way to kill enemies without being noticed is coming from behind and cutting the throat of the poor bastard. This tip can be used particularly to enemies with high life.

Remember: silence, approach and precision in the cutting.

- Pay attention to every single detail in the scene:

No, I'm not saying to stay tuned to see easter eggs just like the zombie building or the sign that says how much space the Gant Bridge takes up on your HD. The goal here is to find relevant items for your survival, such as knives, weapons, health and armor. Always search in every part of the ambient, you never know what you can find.

- Be careful with “throw” type of weapons:

You have grenades, molotovs, smoke grenades and sticky bombs as weapons in the MP, but be sure to use them in the right way. When the player shoots one of those, the AI of the game makes the enemies realize where you are. In other words, it is the same as firing with a regular weapon. So be sure that there is not a lot of enemies and have high ammo to fight all of them.

- Puzzles:

There will be times where you'll be stuck in a part of the scenario and will need to use an object in the ambient to get to the next part. As you saw in the puzzle demonstration, sometimes you will be stucked and will shoot a grid that will destroy itself, or on a machine to open doors and fences, or must use a particular vehicle to jump fences and high walls that Yuji usually can’t jump. But the puzzles will not be the same forever. As the MP progresses, the puzzles get harder. If you need to use only an environmental object at first, as you progress you’ll need to use two, three, or even more. Remember to explore the scenario to find the resources to move to the next part.

- Headshot is an alternative:

Even if you have enough ammo, the headshot is a solution to save ammo for the future. But be careful: not all enemies die with a headshot. Sometimes you need to take 3 or 4 shots to kill an enemy.

- Pay attention to the dialogues!

The dialogues are what show where you should go to get to the next part, so don’t run away like crazy not reading anything that is going under the screen. In addition to the risk of losing the lines, you also can lose the next checkpoint, and will be confused, will have to remake the route, and this will give you more work to do. Keep that in mind: if you see any dialogues at the screen, pay more attention to them than the scenario.

Linear story, linear ambients:

V for Vinegar is a linear MP. You only can get at the desired locations in one way. So, if Yuji say that you should get to the bridge, do not go on your own, go the way the MP tells you to go. If you leave the scenario (you will obviously notice that if you leave, since all stages are full with objects), try by all means go back to it, and if you can’t, will have to restart the mission. It’s difficult to reconcile limits and details, so you won’t be 100% limited in some certain scenarios.

And most importantly, complete the MP without cheats. The goal here is to bring fun to every minute of gameplay, and this won’t be possible anymore if you use cheats. All the missions are made in a “playable” mode, so they are not impossible. Even if you stay a lot of time in a really difficult part, use your mind and see what you can do to go to the next level.

Today I deleted some irrelevant missions of the final part in the script, so the MP will have fewer missions, still I'll release it in less time.

V FOR VINEGAR: FRIENDS/ENEMIES AND FACTIONS

In V for Vinegar's universe, there are several factions and organizations divided in the state of San Andreas. These factions were formed after the government leave the state, which made groups of rioted people unite, forming their own organizations with their own laws, rules and HQs. Check out some of the factions that you will know playing V for Vinegar, coming this fall for DYOM v8.1.

THIEVES:

gallery14.jpg?1475622842

- Thieves are small groups of rioted people who gave up from live to live at the streets. They are cold and cruel, who rob and kill everyone in their ways.

- They are scattered throughout the state.

- They are independent from other factions.

- They haven't any HQ, always migrate to different places of the cities and rural zone.

- They are not good at teamwork and their aiming is bad.

- You will face a LOT of them in the MP. Probably the enemies who will appear the most.

- They are composed of men only.

- They don't make much difference in the plot.

- They make war against the soldiers in San Fierro.

THE CARTEL:

gallery15.jpg?1476486946

- Organization formed by mobsters;

- Their HQ is located in Las Venturas, but they still spread around the state looking for resources;

- They got many relations and connections with other organizations and factions, most part of them involving money;

- They have their own hierarchy, where the most influent mobsters boss the less influent;

- They will be very important in some moments of the story;

- Composed by men only;

- They defend their territories from the thieves in Las Venturas, always winning most part of the battles.

GOVERNMENT AGENTS:

gallery17.jpg?1477169749

- The agents are composed by government securities, cops and SWAT Soldiers;

- They're spread all over the state, but they don't influence on other factions territories;

- Since the state was abandoned by the government, the function of this agents is to watch and arrest people who start to spread the riots throughout the country;

- They don't have their own HQ, since it were invaded by other factions;

- You will find some agents in a few missions of the MP;

- They won't be important to the story;

- They are composed by survivors of the riots;

- They make war against small organizations and tries to avoid confrontation against larger organizations, like the Cartel.

THE ARMY:

gallery18.jpg?1478965063

- They are the creators of the quarantine zone in San Fierro;

- You will fight with soldiers in some part of the MP;
- They won't be very important in history;
- They are composed of soldiers of the American army;
- They make war against thieves, who try to dominate the zone with the help of the population;
- They have good life and aim, always armed with good weapons;
- They have vehicles that can be dangerous to the enemies.

THE BLACKOUT:

gallery20.jpg?1478965096

- It's an organization formed in the protests at the beginning of the riots;
- Formed by survivors of the Vietnam War;
- Their objetive is a political reform in the country;
- Their HQ is unknown to everyone, because of the great persecution that the government and the media did against them;
- Got several followers throughout the revolt;
- They don't fight with anyone, only attack for self-defense;

- Their slogan is a sentence from the leader, Dan, given in a TV interview: "You can still do the right thing. Remember, you can kill men, but you can't kill their ideas. Join to the Blackout. "

V FOR VINEGAR:

gallery19.jpg?1478965088

- V for Vinegar is the group of the protagonists in the MP;

- It was created a short time ago from the beginning of the MP timeline, so it has few members;
- It's an unofficial branch of the Blackout;
- Its members are varied, not having an exact pattern to enter the organization;
- V for Vinegar's goal is to find the base of the Blackout to become an official branch of the vietnamese organization.

If it's some sort of consolation, my period of studies has finished (finally) and now I've finished 10% of the missions in 6 days. Now I can't ensure you the MP will be available tomorrow or in December 20. I'm not trying to promise something with no bugs, but I'm trying to correct as much as I can before releasing it. Don't worry about that, I already told you back there: I planned to release it this fall, so I will definitely release it this fall.
