Seedy
its getting right out of control. now. I was playing there with a guy (this was around the 5 or 6th time I had moved instance ) and this guy had what I can only call god mode. JHe was driving a normal 4x4 car that was driving like a sports car. Every one was shooting him and no one damaged him even once. I was chat messaging him in the public chat asking why he was doing this crap and he said if every one just left him alone then he wouldn't kill every one like that. 1st game tonight. Every time any one spawned, every player had hand grenades spawn at their feet and then obviously died. think it was the 5th game.. guy insta kills every one.. then leaves.. then every player has no guns at all.. So I jump in then out of a car and suddenly I have all the best guns and even some super crazy weapons I have never seen! Then every one talks about having the same guns. GTA Online is looking worse every day.. I love this game but I cant play with these fukin hackers any more. I played APB for around 3 years and seen pretty much hacker all day long.. This is going the same way. It looks to me like the game is either very badly made for some reason or Rockstar simply can not control whats going on. Please fix this. Seemly
Honestly I don't get it, people buy the game for 60 bucks then later tries to risk getting banned. Edited January 16, 2016 by Seemly
Shnockered1
This here explains precisely why I won't even play any games online. As an adult, playing with kids, is a total test of futility, and beyond frustration. If it were not for modders, the single playing experience would have long out-lasted it's usefulness. nkjellman
The one true fix for the modding problem in GTA Online is a separate server that people are put into if they have mods. No risk of getting banned. It will give modders a place to mod with each other. They are just bored. I can list many reasons why having this would be better for GTA Online. nkjellman
Rockstar don't see modders, it only sees revenue from shark cards. If they had a special server that allowed modding like GTA 4 had, they could get ideas for future updates, which will keep people across all three platforms coming back for more. That would only help a little, you could still use injection methods to bypass the mods check. GTA IV was also riddled with cheaters online the last time I played a few years ago, I suspect they all moved to GTA V recently.
Bitsey
Is it still bad by now? I've read that the injection method is detected. I hope it's true!
gajrajgchouhan
What platform do you play on? This is PC section so PC. @Bitsey I have heard they have found undetected method now.Haven't confirmed it tho. OT : That's a bad move by Rockstar. Why do they don't care about PC ? First they make a game with boring storyline. Then they make an online multiplayer without dedicated servers which lags and disconnects as sh*t and don't even put a anti cheat. Seriuosely R* ? Even Ubisoft is better than you just look at rainbow 6 siege.
Ai®a©ob®a
Well not anymore, Word is that the new method has been detected the same way the .asi ones were so as soon as you inject you'll be banned
Seedy
so its saturday almost 5pm GMT and Im going back to plat for a few hours tonight. I just cant help it! FilipCRO
These problems (including lagging, dropping out of the session e.g. left, left, left, left, left, left....) will never be fixed in this generation of GTA Online IMO. Maybe if GTA Online 2.0 comes out when GTA VI comes out, maybe then it will be better. Edited January 17, 2016 by FilipCRO
Jeffrowxpmax
A lot of players cheat and a lot of players drive around in Safe mode and only turn it off when they see a player is standing still. : / People shoot other's standing still and must think their good. It's like some hope and want to be accused of cheating, but, they don't know the difference between a noob move and cheating, haha.

EDIT: A new server-side anticheat for stat tracking has been added in a recent RGSC asset change. It's not perfect, but it will be effective for the most part. Some people are talking about an update to clonehookv2 or something, which is a similar injection but "harder to detect". It must have some sort of masking problem. Rockstar's gotten better, but they're still a few steps behind. Stay optimistic. Edited January 17, 2016 by theNGclan

NomadRider
Instead of separating the script kiddies and trainer noobs form the legit players, Rockstar needs to ban all of them on the 1st offense. Problem solved. Don't give them separate servers just get rid of them. K0ol-G-R4P, Seedy and Zailix

They'll say they aren't hurting anyone and we should all just let them do what they want. Well that'd be great but the truth is that I have several real world and several in game friends who have stopped playing this game because of these script kiddies and trainer noobs ruining it for us. So it does actually harm people who have bought the game and deserve better treatment from Rockstar than these fuctard wannabes who call themselves "hackers and modders" even though they have no idea what those terms mean. 1 and done Rockstar! Permanent ban for 1st offense or make them broke level 0 locked accounts unable own cars homes or weapons. f*ck you cheating assholes Zailix and 78 lil red express
