To those who kick players from jobs, why?

2.) The lower level host wants to actually participate in the mission and is afraid that as a higher level player you'll simply go grab your Hydra/Buzzard/Savage and complete the mission "solo" before they even have a chance to arrive at the first checkpoint.

Which in turn is more of a personal opinion of how they feel.

They actually aren't being wronged at all.

To this day I still let Savage/Hydra spamming kiddies do all the work in missions (when they use them), me not spending a dime.

Yesterday I was actually in TLSC with 5 other players, 3 of whom were level 500+.

They immediately got into their precious aircraft, so after I checked the Granger's GPS, I just drove over to M's house & waited for them to do the job.

One of them messaged me in-game rather mad, but I just responded "You & you're friends want to be showoff gloryhogs, go ahead & do all the work."

So really, I welcome the Kuruma & Aircraft humping players, just means I don't have to waste ammunition.

Trust me, I understand exactly what you're saying which is why I posted that. The absolute worst are the players who bring out their aircraft for every damn mission, and end up failing because they blow up one of the objectives (you know the type, tries to do a mission like Titan of a Job with their Savage LOL).

Yup. Seen enough players, even ridiculously high rank players screw up missions that way.

Just for sh*ts & giggles, I use to message them afterwards "Nice work", leading often to very entertaining responses from them.

I get kicked more than once when i try to join deathmatches. I thought it was because the bad fame players of my country have, but looks like its not the case.

If a guy born from a sexual act between Jackie Chan and the ugliest woman on Earth entered the game, while wearing questionable clothes and with the name "xXProSCopEXx", you can be sure he's going to be kicked

If someone joins my mission, I kick them regardless of their level. I always prefer to play solo because you never know how competent they are, they could just hold me back.

Most ppl who kick are too dumb to close matchmaking before hosting. You are a proof of this.

Or you know...they end up joining right away before I get the chance to close it. I always close matchmaking when doing missions. Sometimes people just sneak in though.

God! you are really stupid. Here's the key words: CLOSE MATCHMAKING BEFORE HOSTING. D'UH!

Wow very mature of you, you're totally not a hypocrite. Like I explained twice in my last post, a lot of the time when I load up the mission, someone starts joining before I even get the chance to change any settings.

Now I know you're b*tching about me not having it closed before loading the mission, but there other gamemodes that I play, in which I'd rather have other people in the lobby. So that's why I leave it open, I just close it when in missions.

I should've known better than to come to the Online section, people are always complaining that a lot of the people here are ignorant little sh*ts and this is a prime example.

Before this gets worse, I think he means you can change matchmaking to closed at all times, just pause>online>options>matchmaking to closed.

You can always invite people by opening matchmaking and Auto-inviting later, I'm sure you're aware of this.

I'm about level 562 and committed just about every mission to muscle memory. (Insert watch out meme here) and I gotta say. Getting kicked is something that happens so much that I just host now unless it's a survival.

Forget random heisting. Getting a competent trio is like winning the lottery. I'll grind my million a day on fleeca and random jobs thanks.

I'm totally aware of that, thanks for being rational. The reason I don't have it closed at all times is because I do races way more often than missions, so it makes more sense to have it on by default, then I just switch it off in the mission lobby.

If I see a helmet you're gone, no if's and's or but's. Until they add a toggle for disabling helmets in DM's I'll keep doing it. Until then go play with like minded bucket heads. As far as other jobs, Heists anything below level 60 is a kick, unless I see you wearing heavy gear. Missions, and races I could careless.

Have to agree with this one as well, if I'm in one of my moods, and if I see xx420NoScOpeZzZzXxx or any xxCOD or Scope names, being ejected from my lobby is an inevitable for you. Doesn't matter what game mode it is.

I very rarely kick a player but when i do its for the following reasons

  1. I started a mission (job) for me and my friends and before i could close match making the servers thrown in someone else...i will normally tell them whats going on and ask them to leave ..if they dont i kick them
  2. A players has music in the background turned up loud enough to rattle my windows at my house = instant kick
  3. If the player joins and does nothing = kicked the next round
  4. the player is Smart mouthed know-it-all asshole = kicked
  5. Rank i normally dont kick players over Rank unless its a rank of 800 plus, If so i watch as we do the first job and see are they contributing or not and to be honest 90% of the players i encounter over rank 800 are useless ...true level 5 or 6 noobs play better than most of these ranks i have encountered

When I see 3 people from the same crew, I leave.

And I guess that when I join a job where there are alrealy 3 people in there, I might take the place of someone.

I got kicked once, because they thought I was a modder and I would cheat. But they couldn't know. They were just a bunch of ignorant morons who obviously didn't know that we can play since years and transfer our account from old to new gen or PC, and then keep our rank. Oh man, rank 384, he must be a modder or cheater. Ridiculous. I paid for the real ones.

Sometimes I feel like I want a lower rank. Going back to 120 or so. There's no point to get higher anyway.

You can close matchmaking in options on the setting, no one can join unless invite.

Plus I always see people forget to turn it off and kick, no such thing as join 5 seconds when you just start it.

Yup, I will kick you if I am waiting for friends, too many bad heists and mission stories to share but I have been f'd over by high and low levels alike so now I just host and be very selectlve. As others have said if you have a stupid name, bad k.d or I just don't like the look of you I will use the kick option.

Learn how to work the game. Set match-making closed and you won't have randoms join you.

You can close it until you actually want it open using the start menu, online, options. Then you can open it for specific jobs if you like instead of having players join just to kick them.

I know there's players out there that feel power being able to kick others. Mostly brain dead idiots, and the GTA community is filled with these type of players.LOL

As said before, one reason is that they are trying to get their own group together. Second is poorly functioning connection between players. It seems to connect players, but then one is dropped off. This doesn't tell that you are kicked, understandably. From heists you can get boot if you're a low level, which isn't a great idea because of second characters. i usually kick obvious modders.

I kick people because I have people who I'm trying to invite. I don't want to play with randos if I got a reliable group of friends.

I'm rank 309 and I still get kicked from time to time. It's probably the same reason for them as it is me.

There is something called "private lobby" why don't you use it?I'm aware, and I use it on occasion. Something called solo mode? I started playing nearly every day since October 2013 so I "don't know much about the game".

Did you know you can't play missions from solo unless you give the characters a call to request a job? Good luck getting a job you want.

solo mode and invite only are two different things

solo is just you and no one can join you, invite only is just you until you invite someone to your lobby or one of your friends joins you through the xbox menu

I can beat that I'm rank 202, yeah one rank higher and I've experienced the same thing. I think its when they are all freinds and they just don't want anyone else playing. Silly really considering I've probably done all of the contact missions more than once and know my way round them. Could understand someone much lower ranked.

I don't take it seriously or personally. In the past my rank could have been a factor as to why but nowadays I feel it's more of an I'm an outsider and not one of their friends who they want to play with.

Never understand why high levels get kicked from missions, unless the host accidentally sent invites out.

I rarely host much, but if I host a deathmatch I kick any 'invisible body parts' players.

The plight of being a high level player. Welcome to the reality of getting kicked simply because you have a higher than average level. Inb4lock

200 is not higher than average anymore though. Its been 2 years. Im not anywhere 200 but I dont play very consistently. But I can still see that 200 is not that unrealistic anymore.

You'd be surprised. The majority of randoms are dumb as sh*t, and see anyone above 100 to be "omg hacka!!1!". I've been kicked so many times because of it, that's not even funny.

Playing on my secondary account, where I'm in the low 30s, I never get kicked. Go figure.

Rank, don't want randoms joining, they had a bad experience with you in a previous mission etc...

I kick people because either

1 - they're too low level and the mission (or more often, heist) is too hard for them, in my opinion, and I don't want to keep restarting.

or

2 - I am trying to run some missions solo and they squeaked in before I was able to set matchmaking to Closed. In that case rank is irrelevant, I will kick anyone. I tend to do this to make cash while I'm doing other stuff, and I'll just do an easy mission quickly and then let my guy stand around for 10 minutes while I'm otherwise occupied.

Sometimes I just don't want the hassle. With heists, really low levels are an automatic kick, because I like to run them on hard (even when hosting; I prefer my teammates to get the maximum amount of cash even if I'm getting nothing). With missions, it depends on the mission. There are some where you need, or at least would really benefit from, having competent help, and a low level who gets quickly killed ain't it. You don't want to end up doing a forced solo run of Landing Strip, Landing Gear, or Chop Chop, for instance.

But in general I am much more likely to kick people from heists than from missions, because heists are less forgiving. Most of my mission kicks are because I'm trying to run them solo and waste time, and I don't want somebody else completing the mission for me, or wondering why I'm sitting there with the objective not moving for 5 minutes straight.

If you didn't know, you don't need to deliver all three of the planes in Landing Gear. You can just blow up the other two and only deliver one. For Landing Strip, you can park the plane at the end of the Sandy Shores runway on the opposite side of where the enemies are located. From there, you can snipe them and gun them down on foot. If the Grangers are in the way, you can drive them away to make space for the plane. So, in actuality, you don't need others in those missions, unless they require two or more players, I can't remember.
