I am rank 201 and have been kicked from both higher and lower ranked players so I can't figure out whjy I get kicked.

Just got kicked from a fairley easy mission and cannot figure out why? Why kick someone who can move you up quicker and make you money faster?

they do it because they cant figure out that there is a no matchmaking feature that does work.

i understand your pain, happens to me too more often than not. i assume its because the host has been traumatized by randoms and doesnt wanna deal with the stress of "will the run me over or will they not".

200 is not higher than average anymore though. Its been 2 years. Im not anywhere 200 but I dont play very consistently. But I can still see that 200 is not that unrealistic anymore.

I kick people because I have people who I'm trying to invite. I don't want to play with randos if I got a reliable group of friends.

I'm rank 309 and I still get kicked from time to time. It's probably the same reason for them as it is me.

In my experience it's because higher levels are less likely to help. I always do missions solo but once I was playing on my second account that was level 22 and I am pretty broke on that account so I did Blow Up 2 and invited a random for the extra money and a bit of help a level 140 something joined and did nothing he jumped in my car I drove us to the cars and while I was moving the Banshee he started hitting the cars with a baseball bat even while I was ramming the cars together he continued to hit the cars and when I was done he stood next to the Banshee until I jumped in. I do a lot of the mountain bumper cars and there is a podium thing in the middle every single round someone is standing there and it's always the higher levels I actually prefer to have a team full of level 3 or 4s than level 100+. If it wasn't so hard to get people to join bumper cars I might kick high levels.

Op I know why, wait, Can I call you Bob? ..Well Bob heres the reason I kicked you. I started up a mission and invited a few of my m8s, it was taking them longer than normal to join and I forgot to put the mission on CLOSED thats when you joined Bob. I might have waited a few mins just waiting for my other m8s to show, but I needed to kick you to let Fred join the mission. Sorry Bob, nothing personal just wanted to play some missions with my m8s

If someone joins my mission, I kick them regardless of their level. I always prefer to play solo because you never know how competent they are, they could just hold me back.

Most ppl who kick are too dumb to close matchmaking before hosting. You are a proof of this.

Or you know...they end up joining right away before I get the chance to close it. I always close matchmaking when doing missions. Sometimes people just sneak in though.

In PVP jobs (mostly DMs), I've been kicked by higher and lower levels, I can only guess that if higher level, they only want what they think will be easy prey, and lower, well, they don't want to lose too badly.

For co-op jobs, I have no explanation for why people haven't figured out closed matchmaking. I figured it out the first few days I played, I don't know why it seems to be a problem for others.

Just as a public service announcement:

when people are talking about closing matchmaking, they aren't talking about in the hosting lobby, but in your online options menu when you pause the game.

Can't be said enough.

Wow very mature of you, you're totally not a hypocrite. Like I explained twice in my last post, a lot of the time when I load up the mission, someone starts joining before I even get the chance to change any settings.

Now I know you're b*tching about me not having it closed before loading the mission, but there other gamemodes that I play, in which I'd rather have other people in the lobby. So that's why I leave it open, I just close it when in missions.

I should've known better than to come to the Online section, people are always complaining that a lot of the people here are ignorant little sh*ts and this is a prime example.

There is something called "private lobby" why don't you use it?

That's why I always join Contact Missions "On Call" now.

Not going through the loading to the mission lobby just to risk some dumbass kicking me, who can't figure how to set matchmaking to closed.

If I get kicked it's while I'm still in my session, not wasting time.

I wish that I could give this comment more than one like and add it to the online loading screen tips!

Besides that issue, I can think of 2 reasons off the top of my head.

1.) The lower level host had a bad experience with a higher level troll in the past and therefore assumes that all high levels are trolls. The same can be said for high levels that kick low levels out of the lobby because they've had a bad experience with a low level player that had no clue what they were doing and failed missions repeatedly.

2.) The lower level host wants to actually participate in the mission and is afraid that as a higher level player you'll simply go grab your Hydra/Buzzard/Savage and complete the mission "solo" before they even have a chance to arrive at the first checkpoint.

If you are talking about invite only that doesn't work. I started up a mission in invite only as soon as I loaded in to my garage and while I was buying all ammo someone had already joined.

1) Some want to play with friends

2) Too stupid to set matchmaking to CLOSED

3) intimidated by your high level

4) Some look at your KDR even though it doesn't even amount to skill.

Which in turn is more of a personal opinion of how they feel.

They actually aren't being wronged at all.

To this day I still let Savage/Hydra spamming kiddies do all the work in missions (when they use them), me not spending a dime.

Yesterday I was actually in TLSC with 5 other players, 3 of whom were level 500+.

They immediately got into their precious aircraft, so after I checked the Granger's GPS, I just drove over to M's house & waited for them to do the job.

One of them messaged me in-game rather mad, but I just responded "You & you're friends want to be showoff gloryhogs, go ahead & do all the work."

So really, I welcome the Kuruma & Aircraft humping players, just means I don't have to waste ammunition.

Why do people take things so personaly ? These missions are so easy I can do it half asleep solo. Only time Id play with others is when low ranking friends need money . so they are kicking you out cause they are waiting for their friends to join, its a no brainer.

This, all day long. In fact, I've started to mic out and explain my mistake before I kick anyone. A few times I have received tnks texts for the info.

Trust me, I understand exactly what you're saying which is why I posted that. The absolute worst are the players who bring out their aircraft for every damn mission, and end up failing because they blow up one of the objectives (you know the type, tries to do a mission like Titan of a Job with their Savage LOL).

It'd be nice if people brought out other more interesting vehicles. I'm high rank and have a lot of toys, it's not bragging, I just want to use what I worked for. But I try to bring a technical, or the turreted limo, or the valkyrie. Some unique gameplay experience I might be able to offer other people. And at least it takes a little time and has a little challenge.

Kuruma shooting is boring af.
