I noticed recently in the few Freemode wars i've been in that some players have this thing where after they kill you they instantly explode so they can respawn with full health. Ain't that some sh*t? I saw it a bit ago when battling two rpg-spamming tag-teaming snipers.

They're probably just throwing down a sticky and killing themselves. They do it so they get to respawn with full health/deny you a kill/preserve their K/D.

Its possible except ive seen them explode while their gun is equipped and in aiming position before. Like instantly after they've killed someone, its not possible to place a sticky, equip a gun and explode instantly

Then again i just tried and not sure how someone can do it so fast and accurately. Like impossible to hit the bomb in mid air.

Agreed on it being cheap though, I'm not a fan of all the suicide business.

If you press the left d-pad of the PS4 controller while aiming with a gun, you will automatically throw a grenade, sticky bomb, or tear gas. However if you press the left d-dap twice in quick succession while having the sticky bomb equipped as throwable, you will blow yourself up pretty quickly. Happened to me numerous times when it lagged badly in a session for instance.

 

I definitely have seen people using it as a cheap tactic to deny you a kill. They are almost as widespread as those that spam the RPG and quickly take the easy way out, or those that spam the Marksman Rifle and take the easy way out when you hit them a couple of times, et cetera.
