Didn't worked ;( I'm using steam version of the game so I think I just verify the game data to restore the file, but still, thanks for the answer.

Yeah it didn't solved that. I downloaded and installed gameconfig.xml. Then when I started the game, it shuts down after half of loading and says that Grand Theft Auto V is not responding.

My internet is very slow and I don't want to redownload. Is there any way to fix it? (Sorry for my bad english.)

And what makes you say that config file is causing crash ?

Just delete the file. And if the crashing problem continues post your specs.

I've deleted it and nothing changed. Same thing everytime.

I played GTA V since it was released on PC and I'm 100% sure that's nothing about my pc specs.

GPU: Nvidia GeForce 710M

CPU: i3-3110M

RAM: 4GB

It worked all day until I modded the game with gameconfig.xml. Even tho I Veryfied files with Steam and they restored it to original, the game crashes.

Ok fixed it :D Delete this topic please :D

All I did to fix it, was uninstall ASI Loader with OpenIV from GTA V game directory.

Its just sad that i didnt get this error sooner so you guys wouldve been spared from losin all your mods and file data its just a simple error with a simple fix actually

the thing is that if you change your mods config file you need to apply the same changes to the copy of config in your original games update folder, the error that you get when you load the game is cause of data conflict between the two files in those two different directories so what you have to do if to copy the one of the config file from any of the mod or original updates folder and then paste and replace it with the other config file

this should fix the loading error
