Hotel spawn location option

It gave me an option to select "hotel" as a spawn location. Instead of scrolling with my right anlog stick, i pressed "a" to select the location.

To my knowledge this has been around since 2013. I had that option (at least for a while) prior to buying my first apartment, which was with the stimulus package in 2013. By in large it's nothing but an extra option that just exists. Spawns you outside various hotels (the nearest) to your last.location

i only started seeing this after the Executives update and I could never get it to work

it always spawned me at my same location

As Ukeman5 said, it's a residual from when you're a fresh player in online with no apartment.

It has been.

 

If somebody can, start a new character on the last gen consoles. Spawn. "Hotel"

what was your spawn location?

 

the hotel spawn is the default location for fresh characters without home.

 

you spawn on the sidewalk of a hotel surrounded by bums.

 

it was like that in october 1, 2013 when i created my first chatacter that got eaten by the cloud, on october 3rd when i created my current character, on december 2013 when i created my second character and it was like that last september when i created a character on ps4 before i transfered my character from ps3.

I've been playing since day 1 on 360 and now on Xb1 and even before I had a property was never offered hotel as an option. Even when I created a new character for XB1 when Gta moved to current gen.

 

It was only: last location, random location, propert address interior, or property address garage.

 

Rockstar did feature hotel marquees in the trailer for Executives and Other Criminals and we never noticed and option to stay at an oppukant hotel. But perhaps this spawning option was added.
