Bnd
There is Hunter that can start Vigilante though, but it crashes game. Found actual way to dupe the mission, but it won't work becouse if you dupe mission the "doors" that opens while you progress trough the mission won't never open becouse you never did the thing on "First istance" i know the Black & White Maverick sits casual on Roof but there is no way to get to roof, if you fall from the building game will recognise both instances to fail. Lethal Vaccine
I don't even know if the Black/White Maverick is special. Perhaps I saw one of these when I was doing Vice Sights. I was flying it already as it was the Colors in which spawned on the Maverick for the Side Mission. I get confused sometimes with EC Vehicles as Black/White IS indeed EC in LCS (Calm Before the Storm), but in VCS it's something that spawns in traffic. Â I updated the III and VC Guides, so next is updating LCS and VCS Guides. I will wait a little bit, though, just in case you find anything else in VCS for me to add. Arsen Vitiuk
Got some updates for you. Phil's pink Perennial in "Truck Stop" is also EP, in addition to being FP, however, unlike what I claimed earlier, none of these properties remain upon passing the mission, so failure is the only option to obtain it. Â Also, I have confirmed that the PP property on the Cuban Hermes remains upon passing the "Nice Package" mission, no need for a useless +1 mission attempt. Lethal Vaccine
Thanks a lot! Btw, don't forget to update your Starter Save LCS Topic, 99/100 Hidden Packages can be obtained now... Â However, since you made note of differences in the PAL Version of the Game compared to NTSC, I am wondering if the Perennial is EP in your Version but not others. Or perhaps it is on PS2, both Versions, but not PSP, where jam8tone is playing. The only way to check is through the Game Scripts. So if anyone reading this can check and copy/paste what it says in Sanny Builder and let me know it's EP on all Version, that would be great! Â I will make these changes now! Â EDIT: Done! Arsen Vitiuk
...or maybe it is jam8tone who didn't figure the EP property on that Perennial. Don't discount his possibility.
Lethal Vaccine
Well, most Special Vehicles and their Properties are found by looking in the Game Scripts, though. That's how it worked for III, VC, and SA at least. The same can be done and said for LCS and VCS, but I am not sure if anyone actually bothered to do such a thing, despite it being exactly the same way to do this for III, VC, and SA. Since less people play LCS and VCS compared to III, VC, and SA, maybe that could have something to do with it. Â However, I do believe jam8tone is going off of his OWN discoveries WITHOUT looking at any Scripts. He himself made most discoveries in LCS and VCS and is the only one on Youtube with extensive Guides with only one other guy making an extensive Youtube Guide for LCS, but not VCS. So it's possible he just didn't know, but I still find it a bit hard to believe since he checks all Properties in his Videos and shows everything after obtaining a Vehicle. I just don't see how he could miss the EP Property when the Vehicle itself has been known for years and he, as well as others, obtained it and never said anything about it being EP... Â Although, he did make note of the H/EP/FP/PP/EC Chrome Red Infernus and verbally said that he didn't know it was PP for a long time and only on a fluke he tested it and found it was PP. Â I just wish someone who was passionate enough about Special Vehicles and understands how to use Sanny Builder and look into the Game Scripts would just copy/paste what is available in VCS instead of guessing. You never know...There might be loads available, but nobody would ever know since nobody cares to actually look in the Game Scripts from Soldier up to Land Stand. OrionSR in 2010 made a comprehensive list of what is found in SA and to this day, that is what people used to one by one find Methods on how to obtain every single Vehicle he listed. That's how it's done. Guessing the Vehicles only goes so far, so it's just that...Guessing. If we knew what the Game Scripts said, it would make things a lot easier. Once we know said Game Scripts, then we find ways and Methods to obtain the still unobtainable Special Vehicles or unknown Special Vehicles... Arsen Vitiuk
It now strikes me that the Perennial can be not EP, but with extremely high resistance to explosions, just like the fire truck from Karmaggeddon in LCS. Need to check it out sometime. Â Also, the black Maverick with a white bottom is a regular paint job in VCS. Lethal Vaccine
Yeah, typically if you check a Vehicle, you put it into a Garage first and let the door close on it. Increased Health doesn't save in Garages, thus would be removed once stored. After, take it out and see. I'll remove EP from the Legend and in the Guide. Â Yeah, I figured that. I was using such a Maverick in which spawned at the Airport for Vice Sights Side Mission. This is why I get confused since a Black Maverick with White Bottom is EC in LCS, but in VCS, it's something in which spawns in traffic or spawn point. Â EC's can be found in Carcols.dat, but again, nobody seems to check from Soldier until Last Stand in the Game Scripts. They rather play a guessing game to find things, I suppose... They rather play a guessing game to find things, I suppose... If it'd be as easy as III/VC/SA/IV, someone would have done it already, no? Checking color ID's in the script is pointless if there's no way to get to carcols.dat yet.
Bnd
It is possible to get carcols.dat in LCS but i have to agree, i was searching for carcols.dat in VCS files and was not able to find it. so the Maverick might have UC2 White color, since there is many White shades on LCS so meybe in VCS too... Arsen Vitiuk
One could do a hardass work of checking the colors manually using GTA Vice City (because the carcols.dat is identical for both these games and LCS in terms of color designations), but then again, it would be half-guessing. Although I did manage to manually crack down some of the colors for several vehicles using the method of trials and errors. Namely, the Sanchez. Â But using this method to document all color schemes for all vehicles could take weeks, and still leave some room for interpretation. Â But the scripts regarding vehicle properties - that is much easier if one has enough time and decent programs to crack it down. Lethal Vaccine
could take weeks  But the scripts regarding vehicle properties - that is much easier if one has enough time and decent programs to crack it down.  It could take weeks, sure, but something that took weeks, can be used for YEARS. As I previously said, OrionSR made a list from "Big Smoke" to End of the Line" in SA with all Vehicles and their immunities, which is still used to this day in determining what is unobtainable. It's just nobody wants to do this in VCS, or LCS for that matter. Bender. already can look. Go back the past few pages of this Guide. I already said about the guessing game numerous times. I already said how he should copy/paste from Soldier to Last Stand, but apparently he isn't interested in it. _Douglas_, now LeonTheKiller was going to look in the VCS Scripts back in 2014, early 2015, but only looked at a few and then also became uninterested. If you're into Special Vehicles and want to know the facts, you'd look, imo. If you don't want to know or don't care about Special Vehicles as much, then they probably aren't really interested in it...  I don't know how, or I'd do it myself. But you just use Sanny Builder or something to view the Scripts. Then Copy/Paste them into this Topic. I can determine Properties of what the Script is saying. But I wouldn't be able to determine WHEN the properties are applied, but just by playing the game, I can probably take an educated guess and be right since I played all these 3D Era Games countless times and obtained tons of Special Vehicles on countless playthroughs, so knowing what takes place during the Mission will be easy to identify when a Vehicle has the properties applied to them...Then comes the hardest part of all, finding a working Method to obtain said Special Vehicle.  someone would have done it already, no? Checking color ID's in the script is pointless if there's no way to get to carcols.dat yet.  Yeah, if that isn't possible to get, then you can't look for the Colors, I suppose. But I was thinking it was possible to get it, but nobody did it since the same crowd of people aren't playing LCS/VCS as they aren't like III, VC, and SA were everyone and their neighbor has these but not LCS/VCS since they are only on PS2 and PSP (LCS on Android/iOS now, too). But still, the immunities on all Special Vehicles can easily be found and looked into... Edited July 16, 2016 by MetalMilitia89
Arsen Vitiuk
I will see if I can extract any files from my PS2 discs. Not just for the sake of the Special Vehicles, but for my own interest. Of course, a person proficient in these manipulations would spend far less time than I will. In addition, it would be much easier for someone with a PSP version of the game, but then again, what if there are Special Vehicles unique only to either PSP or PS2 version, but not both? PSP (PAL) script is 1.75MB, and PS2 (NTSC) script is 1.78MB (because PS2 exclusive content), worth checking both, but they're probably not going to be much different, if at all. Lethal Vaccine
Like WildBrick142 said, it's probably more or less identical. Too much work for the Devs to make different Scripts for the Missions depending on the Platform. So more than likely, you'll find the same information whether you look into PSP or PS2, or Mobile, once it's released. Â Take your time Arsen. It's no rush. I will be thrilled if you compile a list, though, in time. Just copy/paste everything you find inside the Scripts and then we can see what still is left to be obtained and looked into. That's exactly it. You're interested, so you'll do it, even if it takes a while. I was glad you got back to me on the Perennial and the Cuban Hermes, despite making note of this stuff a couple months ago. Better late than never. It's the same in my HD Era GTA Guides where people say they will record Vehicles, but then give up really quickly, so I doubt much more Videos will be posted for those. No worries, though, as I took the time to write a wall of text, which will do. It helped me when I was doing the HD Era GTA's back in 2014, so I don't see why it won't help others. I just prefer Videos to walls of texts, since I personally am a visual learner and when I see a Video, practically any Special Vehicle, no matter which GTA Game, is simple for me to obtain. If I just read about it, sometimes it sounds harder than it really is. It's also the problem with a lot of the old Guides and "facts" written on Gamefaqs and GTA Wiki. Too much is information is misleading and some, just plain wrong. However, most, more than anything is outdated. This is why I am taking the liberty to revive the Special Vehicles since most Guides on the Web prior to making any of them were old and didn't give much information. I am writing everything so everyone can understand. Arsen Vitiuk
Lethal Vaccine
Guide Updated! Â I added in the EC Grey and Pink Maverick as well as the H/EP/FP/PP/EC Navy Blue Flatbed. Â @Bender., is it possible to pass Accidents Will Happen and obtain that Maverick? Can't you do what you did and just fly it to The Clymenus Suite and store it, then return to the Infernus and do the Mission like normal and once passed, just confirm the Maverick in the Garage? I know you already said that you can obtain the Maverick and the Infernus at the same time and fail the Mission which is right, but I don't see a reason to fail the Mission for the Maverick unless you absolutely need to? So can you pass to get it or not? If you can, I will fix the Post in the Guide and make note that you can pass to obtain it. Â I will update the LCS Guide now with your new Discoveries, as well. Stay tuned!
Bnd
It will skip random mission in chain (or worst 100% wont be obtainable), i don't really recommend completing missions after duping in any GTA. Lethal Vaccine
Lethal Vaccine
Ok, thanks for the quick answer. I will leave it as is, then. I am keeping the PP/EC Navy Blue Flatbed in the Guide, despite being inferior at this point, since it doesn't need the Duplication. But of course it's useless compared to the H/EP/FP/PP/EC Flatbed and you can't pass the Mission to get the PP/EC Flatbed, anyways.
Bnd
As far as i remember when you cross the bridge that leads to "Secound Island in VCS" game will crash or not, i don't really know why, but i was able to complete the mission after getting Maverick, but as i said, one mission later on WILL be skipped, meybe? next Reni mission. But fortunately if you FAIL mission in VCS/LCS then save game (Same happens when you save while on OM0), game will quickly restart?, every mission related stuff is removed/Any Markers that remains on map are removed completly etc etc.
Lethal Vaccine
Yeah, I remember you saying that in the LCS Topic where all the blips and bullsh*t scripts dealing with the Mission will vanish unlike what happens in SA with some of the Vehicles using these kind of Methods. But yeah, everything is now up to date. Quickly fixing the Unique Gang Burrito Post in TLaD Guide and then everything is fully done with. Can start TBoGT Guide in a couple days. Bnd
You should add something more, why game crashes on LCS/VCS when you don't skip (Spam X) after you dupe the mission. Game is not desired to run same mission twice and due to small memory to use it cant handle it and just crashes. So if you spam X it never shows two Cutscenes at the same time. And if someone need help with these im free to help i can get them 90% of the time.
Lethal Vaccine
Yeah, I mean, people probably see you in the Topic and Comments and know you made the discoveries, so if any newcomers have questions, they can simply ask you right here and discuss those Vehicles. So far I believe only Melancholia tried it, and only the EC Maverick. Said he didn't have any problems getting it. I don't know if he tried the Flatbed or not yet, though. I don't really see that guy around, in general. Â What's more important is knowing how to use the Rampage and Empire Site. If I was able to explain the beginning, I'd go ahead and write up a FULL Description on it instead of what I currently have written there. They don't look very difficult, but the setup always confuses me with the Rampage and Empire Site... Â You can try and explain it and if I understand it, I will write something up in my own words, of course. No need to copy/paste what you say. Will think of something on my own. But I need to understand it first. Edited July 25, 2016 by MetalMilitia89

Lethal Vaccine
I am not sure WHEN it is, but the properties on that Vehicle shift around. It's H/BP/PP, BP/PP, and H/PP during three different parts of the Mission. H/BP/PP is unobtainable version of the Vehicle. Lethal Vaccine
I'll check it out, but there is no need to use OM0 for such easy Vehicles. You just snipe the driver of ANY Bike or the driver of the Stinger, quickly get inside/on the Vehicle and accelerate forward. After the screen turns black and the Mission fails, you will still be on the PCJ-600 or inside the Stinger. Just drive it to a Garage. These are already in my Guide. The only hard ones are the Infernus and Cheetah as they need to be pushed to water slowly and gently without activating the Race. On PSP, the Vehicles are upside down at the starting line due to a trick and glitch, but this doesn't work on PS2 and needs to be slowly pushed. I already have a FP/PP/EC Black PCJ-600, FP/PP/TP/EC Black Stinger, FP/PP/TP/EC Black Infernus, and FP/PP/TP/EC Black Cheetah and none of them need OM0. Â Â Â I hope more Special Vehicles are discovered and ones in which AREN'T in the Guide and known by normal means already. There is still a handful of them that are unobtainable and very good, like an H/AP/PP Barracks OL, AP/EC Maverick, etc, etc... Bnd
I wass able to finally get some progress with getting Ultimate Lance's Bike.  Any ideas what other missions/side missions (Not Rampages!) is CLOSE to Lance house?  For example Beach Patrol mission don't crash game but its hard to reach the bike before it vanishes from map, so perhaps something that won't despawn the bike.  Its strange how Beach Patrol mission instanly says "You destroyed the BF Injection" and mission is failed and bike vanishes from map, perhaps if i would be able to trigger mission at any time this will make something to work.  These side-missions crashes game so far i tested: Vigilante Taxi Paramedic Empire Missions  Duping mission will skip to the part where Lance arives at Prawn Island and cutscene plays instanly then you get stuck in place without being able to move press start or anything else game just freezes.  I'll add a video with the Beach Patrol thingie tomorrow.
