Is there a way to disable Scope Out?

Tired of trying to quick join heists and getting Scope Out.

 

I don't care if they need it done. That is the most boring and useless mission in the entire damn game.

 

Anyone know if we can set it so we never get invites or put into that sh*t?

See, at first. I had no issue.

 

Until the one time I was being nice and stayed in only for the dumb ass newbie host to crash into everything making a five minute thing into a ten minute thing and you can't get out the damn car.

 

Stupid ass mission.

No, it's a mandatory setup mission, and you can't skip setups.

Mandatory for the person doing that sh*t.

 

I don't want it to be optionable in my quick join list in general.

 

So you're a finale hopper?I'm a decent paying mission hopper.

I use Quick Job pretty frequently for heists so I feel your pain OP.

 

I'll have my finger hovering over the back/quit button at the loading screen just in case. Whoever hosts Fleeca knows pickins be slim. It's one of those "you gotta be quicker than that" moments.

 

Long story short, I don't think there's a way to disable Fleeca-Scope Out from coming up.

 

Edit:

This is what I mean by "loading screen". If we get to the cutscene it's too late, I'm sticking through to the end. So the idea is to leave before the Host launches the mission. No harm, no foul.

I'm with you OP.

 

I'm more than happy to assist in any of the other heist preps, but 'Scope Out' is the biggest f*cking borefest ever, and the dialogue is disturbingly cringy to say the least.

 

This is the mission that made me despise Lester the Retard with every fiber of my being. It's also the one that made me believe that the game really takes place 6 months prior to the single player mode, because Lester REALLY matured by then.

Yeah. I hate Lester now.

 

I mean, hate. Online in general made me hate this try hard to be cringy ass dude.

 

The only thing that made me hate Lester more than Scope Out is the cutscene after Pacific Standard.

don't these bastards realise you've got a country to run, as soon as you get out of the lab (where you're working on a cure for cancer)?

 

don't use quick job, problem solved. wait for an invite to something you would like to take part in or is waiting completely off the table for you snowflake?

Come on guys, give The Dragoon a break. He may be a finale hopper, but at least he helps when he finds the missions he wants.

 

He could be an AFKer and just sit there while everyone else does the work. I think they're more deserving of our venom than this guy.

The *last* time I played it I was doing a similar thing, helping out a low level random.

 

Did you know you can fail it by hitting the bank with your car? I didn't..

In my opinion, Fleeca (as a whole) is so low and relatively irrelevant on the totem pole that it really has almost (operative word) nothing to do with later heists like Prison Break, Humane Labs or Series A, let alone the series of heists all the way at the end called Pac Stand.

 

Fleeca = Training Wheels

PB, HL, Series A, Pac Stand = Actual Heists

 

So this "finale hopper" term thrown around at Fleeca Scope Out of all things, the absolute bottom level of Heist missions, is nothing more than sheer paranoia.

I see a lot of people are hating when we want to do something effectively and efficiently.

 

And I don't see the problem if you're a 'finale hopper'. You still get things done and get other people's stuff finished their sh*t rather than sitting in the preparation screen for 1 hour.

Dont get me wrong, OP. Though how would you feel if you are a level 12 just waiting and waiting for someone to join? Nothing said can change the wait.

Everybody wants everything in this game, so well they try to get it through heists and this is the starting step to that...

Not hurting my feelings, lol.

 

I can admittingly say, I'm not doing sh*t unless it's one of three things.

 

A. Fun. I still try to do Adversary Mode. I also love doing certain contact missions.

 

B. New missions. Lamar's missions don't pay worth sh*t but you gotta at least try it.

 

C. Payout is good.

 

As for the idle people? I don't complete missions if two people are idle. Who the f*ck plays a video game not to do anything.

 

And while I agree? It would suck for a low level to not have people help, R* should have never made that first heist a forced two player thing at all. Completely unneeded. To me.
