I have yet to find another Dodgy player... But I am on the hunt...

Every time i see my status go to dodgy, i immediately leave the session I'm in and seek commends from my friends list. Then I'll run a heist or do twenty races on criminal records.

 

We should have a dunce cap appreciation thread. We are, after all, the unicorns of the gta community. The best of the best. The wrekters of lobbies. The evokers of mad. A truly special breed of try-hard. We should have a place to figure out the exact mechanics of BS and to compile our data and spread our accolades. Somewhere to pile the lamentations of the butthurt and cap resenting plebs.

I've heard of that before. A so called "girl"(Don't know if it was a guy playing as a girl or not, I don't have the public speech on) back on my LG days kept saying "I'm a girl" after I said I was filming "her" and her buddies hiding in that wall glitch by Lester's. I said I didn't care, her friends left right after I sent the "I'm recording this" message. She stayed, I went Passive went inside and deactivated it to shoot her out of the hiding hole. Then blew up the dumpster so she couldn't get back in as I jumped back to the outside. After I kicked "her" ass, I assume she got people to kick me as I was getting the kick message rapidly. I left fairly quickly hearing stories like that. It's not worth ever going to BS even once for me as I'll end up there again fast blowing up Kurumas pussies hide in.

@smooth, Theres a dunce cap crew that instructs its members to change it to main crew when youre in BS so you can meet up with them.

I might just choose a nice dunce cap crew emblem to permanently decorate my car. The one I liked had the purple color scheme though, My cars are all silver, red, white or black.

I was definitely put in. Before the moment in that gif, it told me how long I had remaining in bad sport. I checked my player status too, it's definitely there. I feel a bit like I've served my sentence, but committed no crime.

I was driving around in my armoured car (not the Kuruma, don't worry) and noticed two players having a fight with someone. Out of the duo, one of them was well over level 800, and so I thought I'd join in the fighting to even the odds for the lone player (well for fun actually, but that too).

 

The level 800 repeatedly went off radar, so I avoided conventional fighting and stuck in my car. I'd get far back out of auto aim range, and use my heavy revolver to snipe at him/her (while still in the car). This gave me protection from bullets, while I was also able to drive out of the way of homing missiles.

 

It worked, and it worked well. Admittedly, some of the shots I got were lucky, but it was enough to enrage the players anyway. 800 chased after me in a car, trying to throw a sticky bomb, but I managed to shoot him out of the car with my heavy revolver (one of the lucky shots I mentioned).

 

Not long after this, 800 went off radar and attacked with a tank. After getting killed once, I went off radar as well, and went to get my Savage. 800's buddy tried to stop me, but failed. Seeing what I was up to, 800 got out of the tank, pulled out a homing launcher, but got blasted. I then received this:

 

 

I texted back a quick "lol". 800 went off radar once more, so I retreated to the construction site (I knew 800 was probably after a jet, so needed to get somewhere safe).

 

Sure enough, the blip of a jet appeared nearby, hovering way up above the construction site. More hate texts were received, and replied with texts such as "lol". I got the notification that players were voting to kick me, and then got told how long I had remaining in bad sport. Presumably, I'd been reported (for something or the other/winning). Not long after that, this happened:

 

 

I got a message from "800" (ThunderFox619); it read:

 

"enjoy bad sport bitch".

 

To which I replied:

 

"haters gonna hate eh? lol".

 

The moral of the story is, bad sport is a very real thing. It exists, and when your enemies are bitter enough to report you, it will work. Always keep an eye on your player status, and if it goes to dodgy, you may as well stop playing for a while. Anyway, time to do something else for 8 days.

You were fighting like a b*tch. We vote to kick people all the time, because of this same little scared fighter who actually can't play with the big boys.

I would have blew up your maxipad car and watched you run away.

Many people can't fight without armored vehicles and you are one of them.

The level 800 wasn't very GTA smart. I could have ended this really quick without going off radar or Pegasus vehicles.

One day a modder are exploding everyone in the lobby, and the players kicked me because they think i am the modder. I am the highest level player in this lobby and i dont go to bad sport because this.

Google " GTA V recovery services " Your Bad sport problem can be fixed for a couple $$$.

 

:side note:

The bad sport system in this game is the most unfathomably ... I can't even put into words how dumb the bad sport system in this game is. Make a game for us to run around killing each other in then put us in bad sport lobbies for running around killing each other. Only Rockstar could come up with the " bad Sport " system put into GTAV. Any one with a brain would have ditched that bad idea about 8 seconds after they came up with it.

So a guy in another thread seems to think that all your BS points disappear (reset to zero) when you receive your daily $2k good behavior bonus. Hope nobody buys into that nonsense as it couldn't be further from the truth.

I got nailed by this today. King of the castle in a 5 person public lobby. I was in the castle location in Paleto Bay and was 5 minutes in with no one in sight, I was bored and decided to change sessions in hopes of finding a fuller one so I could resume VIP work.

 

Upon spawning into the new session, I got the bad sport warning that'd I'd left an event.

 

Leaving free roam events is now a bad sport offense? Sheesh.

 

 

hahaha I don't know what's more hilarious, Rockstar's atrocious system, or the fact that you felt the need to "finish" some random virtual fight.. lmao. It's really not that hard to avoid bad sport status.

Not when quitting jobs via lag can get you in BS faster than anything else.

People who end up in bad sport im sorry but you just simply dont know how to play the game. Yes i explode peoples vehicles. Yes i go and shoot people ten times in a row to annoy them. I do all the things that a bad sport player does to get in bad sport. But I do them in minority. I dont explode 10 personal vehicles in one session. I will explode a few but then ill go and do some races or deathmatches etc. Ill go to the creator. Ill jump into a new freemode session. People who complain about bad sport have no reason to complain because its your own fault tbh.

This thread has already explained exactly how I ended up in bad sport; you can choose to believe it or not.

 

As a day one player, approaching level 740, I'd like to imagine I've figured out how to play the game by now anyway.

You received your last bad sport points from those two players. Nobody ends in bad sports from a few reports and kicks. You were close to bad sport before.

I just transfered my bad sport account to PS4 and switched the lobbies a few times. But I saw only one other player. On PS3 the first lobby was full with players and I had never problems finding other players in bad sport lobbies. But on PS4? No bad sport players or stupid matchmaking?

PS3 = 21 million V's sold, PS4 = 10 million V's sold. Plus, there is alot of people with USB mods on PS3, getting put in Bad Sport eventually.

Could it be that you have just understood the point of the game wrong? Maybe game isn't about shooting and blowing up fellow players? You do have that option, that i, too, sometimes take for a little action. But I've never even been close to bad sport.

Sony's even you can be an ass, just maybe, you shouldn't?

You must have to piss off an awful lot of people in a single session to get that kind of response.

It's mostly luck of the draw - sometimes you'll get bitter people who report you, sometimes not.

 

I do a lot of free mode by the way. I've already grinded all the missions to death, so I prefer to just mess about in free mode now.

 

I do like using helicopters though, I'll admit that.
