Online mission freezing

So for the past few days I've been trying to join a few contact missions and most of the time it just goes in the clouds and doesn't load the mission. I'm curious if other people are experiencing this as well.

I'm on Xbox one and have had this issue for days now. Any fixes?

Happens to me so often on PS4 its pretty much completely deterred me from doing missions and earning money, I wonder if this is R*s plot, trying to keep us from doing missions and earning money so we buy their cash cards.

*Sigh* threads have been made about this for weeks now in the Help & Support section.

 

 

It seems this bug has really taken effect during the release of the recent festive update.

You can still solo missions, however co-op'n leads to the gamebreaking bugs.

R* has already been informed of the issue, however all reps have said is the typical "Reinstall Game"...which DOESN'T WORK.

 

Really the only hope for a fix is from R* when the next update or patch is released, when they usually solve issues.

I highly doubt this developer will release a patch just for one fix, never seen them do it before, thus why it's not done yet.

 

So until then, either solo or play something else....& no you are defiantly not alone.

 

 

 

 

On another note, I can't see R* being that much of an ass as to implement this bug to encourage shark card purchasing.

If anything it will deter people (especially new players from holiday gifts) from playing the game altogether.

I cloud freeze before it even gives me the chance to launch the mission. Typically i'll try to goto Quick Job >> Mission and then it'll teleport me somewhere on the map, then just freeze above the clouds. Don't even make it to the lobby. Does going to the actual mission location on the map work? Or the whole thing scuppered?

I will say this matchmaking in X1 is bad 9/10 I end up alone in public lobby even my nat is open.

 

Ps4 is always full lobby dunno why

Heard that. Although it can vary like mad for me sometimes. Most of the time i'll be on my own, but the occasional time it will surprise me on launch and stick me in a full lobby. Kinda got used to the isolation though, normally stick myself into a crew session haha.

Froze loading into an invite only last night. stuck in clouds, couldnt even join another session from party which normally works.

 

had to close app.
