This strangers on yachts sh*t needs to be fixed quick

I'm so sick of random players doing what they want on my yacht. I paid 10 million for it for f*ck sake' i should be able to control who I want to be aboard it and to make things worse a stranger I killed me on my yacht today and I spawned back on the beach whilst he stayed on the yacht.

Gather some bodyguards to "remove" them. Or were they lurking around in passive mode air thrusting ? That can be irritating indeed.

I agree with OP. There should be an option to allow/not allow strangers on board. A simple invisible field around the yacht would do the trick.

I did this the other day. Smacked the yacht owner in the face and went passive.

I agree! Two times I would spawn at my yacht and walk out the door to see someone there and one time they were in my hot tub!

Damn, just turn on that safety thing, or go into a single session to avoid getting your ego hurted.

That 'safety thing' doesn't work against people on foot or in Passive Mode.

There is a quick fix for that problem.

It's called invite only session.

I won't lie. My character has climbed aboard many a yacht and farted in their hot tubs.

 

I look at it like owning a house. You can't really stop people from jumping your fence and hanging out in your yard if they're in passive either...

He's right folks, no one can "control" your yacht, and if you really need the security, put the defenses on. If people on board bother you so much by their mere presence and you don't feel like going inside is enough, just switch sessions. I love boarding people's yacht and taking snaps of the ship-name, I don't want that little pleasure to be taken from me.

it does work in the regard that they can't use the whimp tactics and jump out of passive mode and kill you if you have the defenses set to on.

like I said above if you turn on the yacht defenses they can't kill you even when they come out of passive mode.

I signed into online on PS4 for the first time other day. I was on the beach, and saw a yacht. I took my 009 character, in full tux, and swam him out to the boat to go do a hit on the owner. The first yacht I see was called The Bat Boat. But Batman wasnt home. And no vehicles to swipe either. I looked around to see what all the hubub was about, sat down on his chairs, then left. Batman avoided an assassination that day.

I love hot tub crashing in ghost mode. Have also found changing the radio station by the hot tub can inspire quite a bit of rage/combat rolls/wasted ammo. Love it.

Yacht Access sets who can respawn on the yacht and who moves with the yacht. Although it currently appears to be bugged. Sometimes you'll spawn on shore when you have access and sometimes you'll spawn on the yacht when you don't have access.

Theu could just add anti passive and anyone who's in passive is instantly taken out and they cant enable it until they leave the vicinity of your yacht.

If not just go into invite only sessions.

There is no avoiding randoms on your yacht but there is a way to make it tough for them. My yacht settings when I'm not on they boat:

 

1.) Defense on.

2.) No vehicle access

3.) Hot tub attire set to normal clothes- one of the cool things is the quick switch to swim wear. I turn it off so they can't have fun in the tub with their clothes on.

 

Now if someone comes on board while in passive and I'm on my yacht?

 

1.) Defense on. Defense off....and kill them immediately.

2.) If they are in passive....defense off....blow up the vehicle that got them to my yacht. Vehicle access to nobody....and they have to swim back.

 

Can't avoid them but you can sure as hell make it tough on them.

If money's not an issue there's a different thing you could do for step two:

 

2.) If they're in passive, turn defenses off and destroy whatever got them there and re-activate defenses. Make sure Yacht access isn't set to everyone and go to the helm. Pay the captain $25K to move the Yacht to an adjacent location. Yacht moves without them on it. (Hopefully leaving them stranded without a boat and forced to swim. Either way, they're off your Yacht.)

So turning on the defenses and then off disables their passive mode? Please tell me this is true.
