lolleroz Posted January 8, 2016 Share Posted January 8, 2016 Modded my game to get more replayability and sandbox-iness than that cancer called Online ever will. I'm still enjoying it daily after I ragequit 5 due to lack of any activity-based mods. There are actually good variety of mods available for 5. I know, but I'm not interested in any of the gimmick mods like 'be a Jedi! be a superman!' or any of that crap. There are some good mods like the online apartments for single player etc that I use, but there isn't any mod that can lick Hippiecommunist's shoes, more specifically I mean the contact missions mod. Not only it adds like 10 different types of missions but they're all randomized more or less so it's like infinite replayability + add the drug / gang wars from EFLC and you pretty much have infinite missions forever. The only mod for 5 that I've seen some hope for was the build your mission mod, but currently it's just too rough to make anything worthwhile using it (though I did release a Postal 2 inspired mission for it where you just cut up hobos)....... Anyway it's also quite fun to just provoke gangs in IV when you're bored. It's really rad when you just driveby some ruskies and later have like 4 uranuses following you. jkim_1 Posted January 9, 2016 Share Posted January 9, 2016 I typically pick a friend to hang out with (usually Dwayne, Packie, or Jacob) and start sh*t with the random peds before and after going on the friend activity. I also like to play vigilante missions using the LCPD database-- I like to pretend that Niko is some hardcore detective with his nice suit. Since I know about attack combos, I do them all the time! Always great fun! -vigilante missions- never gets boring for me, I can play all day like that, I always choose "gang activity" -driving around trying to do some nice stunts -starting police chase, shootings etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The AI is pretty sh*t at points but there's really nothing that can be done about that now. Here's another one (SP): The buddy holdout game... It requires you to have unlocked all buddy special abilities. Instructions: - Call LJ and get the guns you need (most importantly an smg with a lot of ammo) -Call Packie, pick up the bomb. -Go to one of the outermost parts of the map. -Call Dwayne for backup -Call Roman for a cab. -Tell Mohammed to go to the other side of the map. -Start getting a wanted level and tell Mohammed to hurry. -Try to survive the ride. -If you're nearing the end, call Brucie for helicopter extraction. Notes: -If Dwayne's homies get shot, you're on your own. -If Mohammed gets wasted, you're walking to the other side of LC. -For extra difficulty, use cheats/trainer to get max wanted lvl from the start. Mister Miney Posted January 20, 2016 Share Posted January 20, 2016 Sometimes I go to Broker, around the areas full of Russian gangsters in a police car, provoke the gangsters to attack me, and then call police backup using the police computer, and watch the fight between the LCPD and the gangsters.
