How to replace peds voice?

im using modloader to replace skin,
i found the ballas girl skin and vagos girl skin after use it, i find out that the character, is using female animations, and female voice.

i try to do the same by replacing grove family gang to female skin, but i can change the animation, female stat using ped editor,
however the frustrated thing is i dont know how to replace the voice from male to female.
when i hv conversation with the new female gang, i still heard the old voice. but it differently with another skin.

i assume that the specific female skin for ballas and vagos has been scripted to use female voice,
but my method that on replacing names to original file (e.g - helena.txd change to fam3.txd) is not right.

anyone can help me?
i go throught some research but cant find one.

Use SAAT for editing ped voice.

And Ryosuke's Animation manager to edit/replace animations.

U can use alci's saat GUI to change voices and other sounds also.

it say like this

I thinks you want to replace that ped(actor) voice to another ones. Do this-

Open PEDs.ide using notepad.

Copy the whole line of the ped whose voice you want to make your peds voice.(leave Id number).

Now paste it in your PEDs id line(replace existing).

so i try to do this with ped.ide
after changing the line, it wont give me save the changes i made.

so i have to use alci saat gui frontend to change the voice and animation?

SAAT is for changing voices.

Ryosukes Animation Manager is for animations.

(SAAT is not for animations.)

 

Well thats my note(post) I made in a topic. It works too. But I think in your case try SAAT and Anim Manager.

do you mean SAAT or ALCI SAAt frontend? which one suitable and better?

i try to replace voice using method from ped.ide but it wont let me save it.

i understand a little how its create, the id, model type, animation, stat, and voice, and is there are simple ways to changing the voice between models?

Are you unable to save the changes done to PEDs.ide? Make sure to uncheck it as read-only before opening and modifying. Then Save.

 

And that SAAT and Alci's SAAT is same. Alci is the author of SAAT.

you see, i try to use another PC, i can save it, but all the inside sound - peds, radio, cutscene character voice, is mute - i only can heard vehicle, ambient, weapon, sound .
- i think my game failed to load ped.ide, because when i click again the ped.ide become notepad.

You see if my method true or not.

1) ready the skin to be replace - in my case, skins name - helena.dff / helena.txd
2) change to fam3.dff / fam3.txd
3) put in modloader - this would make my game run the new skin, instead the original.
4) my skin loaded successfully but with man animation and gang2 voice

so

5) open ped.ide using notepad
6) plan to use bfyst voice, with tough girl stat and women animation

7) find the bfsyt ped line = 13, BFYST, BFYST, CIVFEMALE, STAT_STREET_GIRL, woman,1983,1, null,0,3,PED_TYPE_GEN,VOICE_GEN_BFYST ,VOICE_GEN_BFYST
8) copy only (color text) = 13, BFYST, BFYST, CIVFEMALE, STAT_STREET_GIRL, woman,1983,1, null,0,3,PED_TYPE_GEN,VOICE_GEN_BFYST ,VOICE_GEN_BFYST (dont copy the id you said)

9) and replace to fam3 ped line = 107, FAM3, FAM3, GANG2, STAT_GANG2, gang2, 110F,1, null,5,5,PED_TYPE_GANG,VOICE_GNG_FAM5 ,VOICE_GNG_FAM5
10a) so it become = 107, BFYST, BFYST, CIVFEMALE, STAT_STREET_GIRL, woman,1983,1, null,0,3,PED_TYPE_GEN,VOICE_GEN_BFYST ,VOICE_GEN_BFYST

or like this

10b) 107, FAM3, FAM3, GANG2, STAT_GANG2, gang2, 110F,1, null,5,5,PED_TYPE_GEN,VOICE_GEN_BFYST ,VOICE_GEN_BFYST
