So we're supposed to see into the future, like psychics, and know that we won't want it anymore later on?

I mean... Is it really that hard? They have never been sellable, and there is no reason to expect they ever will be. Which means an intelligent person would factor that into the purchase.

 

I have never selected the wrong pegasus vehicle when calling, it really doesnt seem that hard to select the right one and hit X, and i own almost all of them. If you are tight on funds and dont think you want the vehicle long term... dont buy it.

 

I get that you probably had no intelligent rebuttle, but what a poorly chosen meme. Picking the right option off a pretty short list qualifies me as perfect in your eyes? If so, you have bigger problems then selling pegasus vehicles.

Since you are apparently not capable of an intelligent response to the question posed to you multiple times, i will move on to this new post. Really I never expected you would have one to begin with, if im being honest.

 

So to sum up, your thought process when weighing a purchase is you expect the game to never change, and for no other vehicles, weapons, or items to ever be added to the game again, and that it will be sellable down the road even tho it has never even been hinted at before?

No. No one has said this. It has been pointed out, many times, that a number of these purchases were made under cerrain assumptions.

 

My tank, for example. I bought it for missions and to combat other tanks. Then candy asses whined about it, so it got nerfed, twice. Well, now no one uses tanks anymore, or it is at least very rare. And then they added all the other fancy mission winners.

 

Of course they'd add more stuff and change things. Who would have thought, however, that they'd make many things completely f*ckin useless?

 

Edit: I'd also like to point out that a majority of the rest of my purchases were during the level based spawn days. Never would have bought all those boats and planes had I ever thought they'd change that.

 

Plus, if you'll remember, the first update was actually free. Only had to pay for upgrades to those vehicles and all the clothing was free. Even the boat.

We don't really own our pegasus vehicles we only pay for the right to use them thats why i think we can't sell them. I'd rather R* add a feature that allows us to custom

Nah cause the Pegasus client calls it "Your pegasus" vehicle and no license/rights to a helicopter should ever be 1 million dollars+.

It's not even a rich asshole problem, at least entirely, when many of the items for sale aren't big ticket items. The jetski is like, what, 15k? Half of that is 7.5k. Whoo, new shoes!

 

Do I regret buying all that I have? Not really, no. It'd be nice to get something back for all the ones that I can just find spawned in everywhere and keep things like my Duster.

 

Would I like the option to organize my list? Hell the f*ck yes. Cargobob right at the top.

I don't think he expected it to be sellable. I think he just wants it to be sellable.

 

A point made by others in this thread still stands. Rockstar changes things so the value of vehicles changes over time. It sucks to buy a vehicle only for it to become useless. You can't realistically predict if this will happen or not, unless you were Reed Richards or something.

I couldnt care less or have less of a vested interest in people selling them, I would be happy to see it added for people, but expect it never to be.

 

I merely advised to put more thought into big ticket purchases, expecting that wont be the only plane, car, helicopter, etc to ever be added, knowing that games update, balance, change, and knowing they have never even hinted at them being sellable now or in the future. Maybe read comments before replying?

 

It is fine to want to sell or reorganize them. Demanding it however would be childish. An experienced gamer would expect most of the above changes in a game.

 

I own almost all of the pegasus vehicles, & i cant remember ever ordering the wrong one, or it taking more then a few seconds. For me, personally, it is a trivial thing. I never expected to be able to sell any of them, and put thought into buying them.

 

Are you really not capable of selecting the right option on the screen? How often do you fat-finger it? And you see that as someone elses fault?
