Any Canadians buy Shark Cards via Xbox?

I am looking to find as many Canadians as I can who have purchased shark cards from xbox marketplace and were subject to paying taxes on their purchases.

 

Perhaps you did not know, but only Microsoft charges taxes for the purchase of shark cards, classified as "Add-on", but are actually "Virtual currency".

 

My local EBgames confirmed that they do not charge taxes when purchasing a shark card. They also told me Sony does not charge taxes for the same item. So why is Microsoft charging taxes for this item?

 

Since 2013, I have been charged a total of $27.30CAD on taxes on the purchase of shark cards.

 

How many other people have also been charged as much? Think about the amount of money being erroneously charged and imagine all the affected customers coming together to seek damages from Xbox.

 

If anybody has been affected by this, please respond and maybe we can seek legal counsel. Thanks.
