Who is Willis and why will you be inside them?

 

The other PBMO members know who Willis is, it is my daily runabout....

 

 

It is the only car I have a duplicate of, I also have this one, set up in it's classic racing colours.

I have it set up in those colours since from the back end, it looks just like a Mk1 Ford Escort Mexico and I love the Mexico in it's bright orange.

 

If I had no limit on budget and unlimited choice of cars, I would own an Escort Mexico as one of my top three. They are just so much fun and the starting point for the entire boy racer concept....

The orange one is the same colour scheme as mine.

 

Mine has Fujiwara wheels though as they look more like minilites and the registration number is the same as my Mk1.

Well, I can say I really enjoy the Mirror Park track....

 

Had about 30 laps on it so far and I have an initial time. Now I need to clean up my mistakes and I'll get it down.

Yeah I seem to like the track as well, which probably means I'm slow as sh*t on it

Yeah I just did 30 laps myself and I got to say that I didn't like it at first, but the more I went around and found the proper line, the more I enjoyed it.

It sure took some time to find a car I felt ok with. I also imagine there will be several cars with similar times in the final list.

Never had so much blood om my car, damn npc's. Rather quiet in here, you guys done some laps already?

Already done around 40 laps I think. NPCs haven't been much of a deal to me except in a couple of situations, but I can just get off the sidewalk and not hit them.

Also, the Fugitive is a lot quicker than I thought it was/than it looks, I feel like keeping it, it is kind of a sleeper.

I like the looks and sound of the Fugitive, but I find it hard to drive. But I got similar laptimes with the Fugitive and the Intruder, the only ones I have tried so far.

It sticks very well to the road, I like it. The only problem is it doesn't handle bumps that well, but that's easy to take care of.

i have only done avout 5 laps. i'm not sure if i will be able to do any more laps.. have got 2 extremely busy weeks, but i may be able to do some laps at the last day

I've actually done a few laps for the first time this year. Maybe 30 or so thus far.

 

Back to my usual now got a couple of really good runs with consistently quick times and now I'm stuck in the rut of every lap feeling quicker but being about 3 seconds a lap slower because I'm pushing too hard so losing time.

 

I reckon I have about 2 seconds to come of my fastest so far if I can get that one clean lap.

I've done 40 or so laps so far. definatly getting quicker. Was going to do some more tonight but got distracted by wolves and tigers on far cry

Only done like 5 in a Stratum, but I'm probably not going to be able to put in anymore laps.

I got about 30 laps in, took a few seconds off from the first attempt, think there's a lot more time to be made though.

I don't know. Usually I come to a crashing phaze about now but I don't have that. I'm somehow just consistently at least 1 second a lap slower.

About 50 laps done. Tried Fugitive and Intruder and got almost identical lap times. Hard to chose one.

Yes. They both drive extremely different but both seem like they're on the pace. We just gotta wait for the final results I guess.

The Fugitive is an incredibly annoying car in the GTA world. It has one of the best exhaust notes but no body mods.

 

If they gave that the benny's treatment I bet it'd get a lot of love.

Question for all the TT drivers -

What car are you finding the best?

I found the intruder handles those high speed corners just a little bit better than the fugitive.

Probably my bad, don't worry.

 

I've only tried the Intruder so can't really compare, doesn't feel a bad car though.

 

I do think you should all worry though. Verstappen's been quiet, but after his win in Spain he'll be feeling confident!

Yeah I have only tried two but the fugitive doesn't suit my "throwthecarintothecorner" style.

Totally agree to the intruders feel. I actually like it the way it drives.

 

Verstappen's lap times are way out of my league anyway I think. If I ever get close, its because he's done like 5 laps or something. He needs to remove the "amateur" from his member title . Amateur my ass lol
