You know it's bad when over half of the players are in passive mode, and you get a text on your in game phone asking everyone to vote to kick the two players. Bored of their bull, I managed to take them both down with homing launchers, and went and sat on Zancudo to try and stop them getting more. When they realised this is what I was doing they both voted to have me kicked and one of them REPORTED me for griefing THEM - then had the audacity to message me directly to "let us get the planes or else". Soon after they both left, hopefully were kicked. Not had anything happen from the report they put against me yet. How the hell are we supposed to deal with greifers when they vote to kick and report any other player who dares stand up to them? "griefing" is a selection in the reporting system for a reason.... and @Doofy2020 - don't worry about those reports against you, it takes so many reports for Rockstar to even look at it, 2 or 4 (because you can report someone for griefing twice before it locks it for a short time) don't really mean anything. I had a similar problem with a rank 360. He was killing everyone, then I managed to kill him once and the next thing I get a flag up and a warning to improve my behaviour or I'll be kicked lol. So why vote to kick them? they are honest.When you have a lobby of 25 people, of which several leave the session, the vast majority in passive or taking refuge in their properties, and those brave enough to not go into passive get shot down seconds after they respawn - all because of just one or two players in jets - this is probably one of the worst cases of griefing I have ever seen. 23 people who could not play or enjoy the game properly because of these 2 assholes. And when we are still within the post-Christmas period that sees the influx of many new low level players, this isnt the best impression of the game to give or very fair to them. In a game full of modders, people with ridiculous lag, the jets are not problem for me at all. If have a lot of jets in session i simple switch. I will never report anyone that dont cheat, even i dont like the way they play. Well, just my opinion. Changing sessions or going invite only is not letting the griefers win. Leaving is letting you win by not feeding them. Open lobbies have always been a big open world free-for-all in gtao with some lobbies worse than others. Play open lobbies when you want a lot of chaos and invite only when you don't. action_pumper Posted January 8, 2016 Share Posted January 8, 2016 I love taking on jet griefers. I actively look for them in session. They are like sharks, the ultimate op predators. And they generally act within the designed game play, including abusing passive mode. My only wish is for more success in killing them and not just eventually damaging their jets as they chute in passive. They're fine, it is those who attack from straight down that bother me, so I'll just leave, passive mode stalk in a jet or get in a dogfight, I just hate the inconvenience.
