Anonymous010
So, when evading the police, you can turn off your lights and duck down in your car to "hide", but if you try it in an alley or some other somewhat obscured area, the police converge on your location and instantly find you (they're obviously psychic). They always seem to know exactly where you are, even when they can't see you, so what's the point in hiding? Has anybody ever gotten it to work? Just to clarify the point of my topic, I'm not asking for help evading the police; I can evade a 5 star wanted level. I also know that there are places you can go to evade the police regardless of your wanted level. I'm just asking what the point of this mechanic is since it seems to do nothing. Thanks! Lester-The-Molester
Its not for hiding, it increases the chance of enemies missing their shots. AlienTwo
Anonymous010
...then why do they present it as a way to hide from the cops when it doesn't do that? Anyway, thanks for the reply. I hadn't thought of using it like that.
American Viking
The trick is, your wanted level can't be more than two stars and you have to be in a car that they haven't "made" yet. If they know the vehicle you're in, then obviously hiding won't do much. And yes, psychic cops suck.
