What's worse: RPG killer, Sniper, Suicide Bomber (sticky), Off Rad

I've actually just had to deal with a player that uses nothing but RPG's (and then commits suicide once he fires his rocket), a Grenade Launcher and the Marksman Sniper. Apparently not being able to move at all because (or hiding, in his case) makes me a pussy that has no skill.... Mkay.

I voted for RPG killers, because they ruin every deathmatch and freeroam fight. Passive abusers are the most annoying to deal with in freeroam and I usually put passive on when I encounter one. Not worth to spend time fighting with passive abuser. Yesterday was last time I met combination of RPG killer and passive abuser. He got me only once after few attempts and when I put passive on he started spamming me messages telling I'm p****y and he is so good that I got no change. Few mins I bothered to try to use heavy sniper from distance, but he kept spamming rockets and abusing the passive mode. What an absolute loser

I assume you are playing on PC. Why dont you go and play in free aim sessions, instead of playing in assisted aim sessions? Same goes for PS4.

Also, Assisted aim (not "auto aim" as you said, that is a hack, more known as "aimbot") is a must when you are playing with a gamepad, on a console...

 

On topic, RPG abusers are the worst. Period.

Players that don't give me the chance to kill them back after they've killed me. By running/driving/flying away, leaving the session, hiding in their property, going passive or constantly committing suicide when it gets too hot for them.

Spamming the marksman rifle in 1st person (perform the dance with invisible body parts for extra salt)

I don't understand why you can't use a RPG or a semi auto rifle. Are they op in some way? Well the RPG kills with one hit but, its supposed to be like that no?

I've been seeing this kind of "rage" since I started playing Battlefield 3.

"OMG you're such a noob for using that semi auto"

Then I would change for a bolt action one...

"OMG you think your so though killing me from so far away"

Then I would grab a proper assault rifle...

"You're hacking!"

If they're spamming it in some way, I can see that as a problem., but I've never witness it when I was playing, I mostly never engage in freeroam deathmatches, and for the actual gamemode, I've always played with pickup weapons.

But yeah, I can see that pasive mode thing being a problem.

Passive abuse is easily the worst. It's an exploit. The rest of these are just tactics that you may find annoying.

 

To me, the three things that most need fixing to improve the game's combat are passive mode (needs more limitations on when you can enable it), the kill yourself option (needs a cool down timer), and jets (they're simply too unbalanced in the hands of a good pilot).

From the list of choices you gave us, I'd say the passive mode abusers are the worst.

Especially if you are engaging in a free roam battle with multiple people, someone leaving passive as soon as you're off-guard targeting someone else are terrible.

 

But these guys are the worst:

idiots who will abuse pussy tactics, such as blowing themselves up at the first sign of danger, and then call you a coward for not wasting your time on K/D obsessed dumbf*cks who can't be killed, simply because they keep killing themselves

Having a fight with someone that every damn time he kills you, or you damage him enough that he's almost dead, you see him dropping down with the message prompt in the bottom left corner popping up:

I don't care that much about k/d, but if you don't want to have a simple fight on the same level as me on something that's not more than just a game that's supposed to provide fun, don't engage me at all.

I instantly go in passive and go on my way, laughing at the inevitable hate messages I will receive.

I'm not fond of people that can only use RPGs to kill you in a ground fight. It's not a big problem though as it's typically the technique of poor fighters who can't aim and a lot of the time it can be quite tricky to get someone with an RPG depending on where they are, so you're normally safe. Skilled players only tend to use them when it's the best weapon for the job, not as a reasonable alternative to an AR.

 

Passive mode abusers should go and have a good long look at themselves in the mirror. And then slap themselves.

K/D ratios mean absolutely nothing when all it takes is glitches and/or whimp tactics to pad it. No one gives a care about the K/D ratio at all, and the people that think it actually means something don't have a clue. It's like with the level rankings, and people thinking the higher level the player has automatically makes them have more skill, which is far from the case.

 

and most of the people with those higher k/d ratios tend to be the players who hide in Hydra's and grief entire sessions and if someone hits their Hydra with a rocket and causes it to start smoking they instantly activate passive mode, and bail out of the hydra and call in for another hydra... all because they think the K/D ratio actually means something when it does not.

 

no one has complained about the K/D ratio here, however people (myself included) have brought up the whimp tactics people use to pad this useless and meaningless stat when responding to the question that this thread is based around.
