Was about to deliver briefcase in freemode, three highish level players behind, while i was level one. Nothing too bad, but it would have been nice.

The worst thing is when it disconnects you, but you can get back online, start what you were doing and get disconnected again.

One time though it crashed while I was entering in a car with East Los FM turned on. 5min of loading screen with Spanish music

this. it happens quite often, not that I'm bothered by it a lot since I am a lone wolf and don't need trigger-happy low-lives who get their fun out of others miseries - but it does make me wary and mostly is just a matter of time before I get disco'd from my lonely session aswell.

 

I still don't understand why R* is doing this peer2peer crap when they could ABSOLUTELY use/pay dedicated servers. WHY R*. WHY?!

I use to say, that GTAIV was the most unstable game ever made, then came GTAO.... Getting discon when you complete a mission/or when you dinged and then return to see that everything you gained was lost.

Love those game crashes.....

While technically not happening to me, one of my crew members when doing Criminal Mastermind may have got one of the worst disconnects. We just finished Pac Standard - Convoy. At the exact time the green screen flash happens, he gets a "unable to connect to Rockstar Servers" message. While the rest of us all got credit for completing the Setup, he didn't which left him 1 short of Master Mind progress, which ultimately got reset when we did the final heist. Luckily for him, Rockstar Support was useful, and he was able to get credit for the Mastermind bonus a few days later.

Really not a major inconvenience but still annoying since it's happened more than once but... battling it out with randoms, getting disconnected and getting an annoying message accusing me of leaving session because I'm apparently "scared" of their virtual bullets and tweenage angst.

 

R* servers have always been sh*t and they've always had legions of fanboys who yell at you for pointing out the obvious fact that they make enough damn money to fix this sh*t.
