gamefriik200
So recently I got a new PC, Gigabyte GTX 980Ti and i7 4790K with 16GB ram and in some parts of GTA 5 world I have little FPS drops, so my question is what things should I turn down a little? That FPS drop is usually down to 53FPS, in some cases 45 or less But I would still like to keep Texture quality and stuff like that as they are, so other things like Vysinc or MSAA or whatever Ambient Occlusion: NormalAnisotropic Filtering: x16Direct X: DirectX 11Distance Scaling: 100%Ectended Distance Scaling: 100%Extended Shadows Distance: 0%FXAA: OnGrass Quality: Very HighHigh Detail Streaming While Flying: OffHigh Res Shadows: OnIn-Game Depth of Field Effects: OnLong Shadows: OnMSAA: x4Nvidia TXAA: OnParticles Quality: Very HighPopulation Density: 100%Population Variety: 100%Post FX: UltraReflection MSAA: x8Reflection Quality: UltraResolution: 1920x1080/60HzShader Quality: Very HighShadow Quality: Very HighSoft Shadows: Nvidia PCSSTessellation: HighTexture Quality: Very HighWater Quality: Very HighNvidia Multi-Frame Sampled Anti-Aliasing: Off
Sonnу
Turn off MSAA, and/or set grass quality, shadow quality and post fx to normal or high at least, turn down extended distance scaling. These settings are the most important if you want to increase your FPS as far as I know. Edited January 5, 2016 by Sonny3787
