IDK it might be you actually. I just tested PS2 Feels without the update in Mod Loader and got the same bug as before, also it says in its log that all LD_ textures and pcbtns.txd are installed. Try to look at yours log and see what it says.

Don't trust the log. I didn't go into details last time, but for me too the log says the TXDs are installed but they are not.

Let's take LD_ROUL.txd as example.

In Mod Loader:

With Mod Loader, the TXD is not used, you can see the horrible compression from PC.

 

If you're lucky and Mod Loader uses the TXDs, it's still better to use the update, but instead of replacing the files, place them too in Mod Loader.

Pretty sure you're using "MODELS" as the mod's name, use it as a subfolder instead and "PS2 Feels" mod name for example, so Mod Loader could take it as a proper virtual path (like modloader\PS2 Feels\MODELS\TXD) and apply those TXDs with proper "gta3.std.sprites" handler instead of "gta3.std.stream".

 

EDIT: Actually only virtual path depends for proper Mod Loader work (modloader\PS2 Feels\MODELS\TXD), it does say "gta3.std.sprites" even in your current case (modloader\MODELS\TXD) but still vanilla textures are used...

As you can see with the screenshots, this brings back screens of schools, airports and mini-games as they were on PS2. And at the same time, all the things mentioned in PS2 Features To PC Index.

Got a pretty annoying issue here with clean install with and without whatever mapfix available, don't open the spoiler unless you want to end up like me not being able to unsee it:

 

 

 

Near the spawn point when starting a new game there is a billboard on top of a building (the one with the vc hidden package statue) that will just disappear right in your face when you're behind it and tilt the camera up, no other billboard seems to do that (in the whole game) as far as I tested and I wonder if it could be fixed. I'll add some screenshots when I can if needed.

If we're talking about disappearing objects around LV, I have found another one. Go to the LV TransFender and stop right before the garage door. Then move your camera up and down and you'll see the building behind the TransFender disappear.

I'll have to search which line in occluLA.ipl causes this.

By the way, it's not the only problem of this billboard. If you take a closer look, you'll see that the LOD is there even if you're near it.

This reminds me of something that has been reported and fixed some time ago.

Well some unified fixes for the whole map should help a lot of people so that the map is actually fixed. I can't believe what a mess San Andreas truly is (PC version at least, PS2 version had some small issues as well but this is nuts).

It should be possible by editing the main.scm but maybe this would result by starting a new game. Sadly, what I can do is really limited so it won't be me.

A cleo should work as well, you wouldn't need to start a new game. As above, I can't do it.

Editing the map? No. In a new game, two yacht would be superposed.

I don't think you understood the post. I took occluveg.ipl as example, to explain that the problem with occluLA.ipl is similar.

occluveg.ipl is for Las Venturas.

occluLA.ipl is for Los Santos.

The problem reported by LaDiDa need occluLA.ipl to be edited.

In the future there's gonna be IDEs and IPLs fixes.

Think the (kind of) problem with that rooftop is that it suposedly doesn't cover the whole roof, but judging by the textures matching up this is intended the way it is now.

Hi. To fix lightbeams, you need pdomecones.dff from PS2 Features To PC Index.

There's no IDE value. To fix the logos with black background, you need the improved pdomes_logo.txd from PS2 Feels.

I don't think so, sorry. I edited things here and there without keeping a list of the changes I've done. But after releasing it, if there are things you found interesting for LCLF, you can add them.

What happen if I enable the "GXTFixes" in GInput while using your PS2 "american.gxt" in VC/SA? Will some text strings replaced with button textures or something else?

Oops, the instruction is only for SA, as "README.txt" states.

Like this is written in GInput.ini, ApplyGXTFixes alters GXT entries. Meaning that the entries I have edited will be replaced by the ones from GInput.

While "Home Invasion" looks like that on PS2:

Any chance of convert the MafiaBlood from LCS to GTA3? Adding it instead of replace using some free ID of course. Would be cool see it along with PS2 feel.
