Ok, since users are loving comparing other situations to this one

 

 

My cable/internet is down

It happened near the weekend so I don't got sh*t for service for 5 days

They never came when they said they would because they said we cancelled

Have to wait another week

 

Man I am so entitled. I should just take corporate cock so far up my ass like other users who advocate companies f*cking over the consumers at any given chance. You give them an inch and they take a mile.

Things break, you are entitled that the company who's things break fixes them within a reasonable timeframe. You are not entitled to compensation as soon as an issue arises.

 

This isn't difficult.

 

That is a reasonable point, however this comparison is largely inapposite. You've compared a physical object with a non-physical one, and a repair can be, and only is, completed remotely with an internet server/network issue like this. On the other hand, an oven can only be repaired by direct, physical contact, which requires the repairing party to be in the immediate, physical vicinity. It's not an apples to apples comparison.

The "I want everything now" mentality (not purely a generational thing) can't accept this.

 

If you are concerned about a Daily Objective streak, since it is a known network issue, Support can compensate for you if you contact them before the turnover time.

I have my $500k day tomorrow for one character and Wednesday for my other, so I hope it will be resolved before then.

Sony had a year to improve their servers but it looks like they didn't... It's not really a big deal here just play some single-player games.I just recently turned on my PS3 and was able to connect to PSN. I want to see if someone else can do it with their PS3.

But hey, if it stays down long enough, they can always offer us one of those great indie games that they offer for PS+ but you can probably find on NewGrounds for free!

 

It's ridiculous. I wouldn't have an issue with Sony going down if they didn't charge nowadays. I've always had an issue with Sony making people pay mainly because it's the same boring, lacking ass service but they got a taste of greed.

 

EDIT: Leave the, "Uh they cant defend it cause ya know complicated technology." I don't care what PSN does to fix it. Unless they stop charging.

 

PS Now, is charged sh*t. PS Plus, is charged sh*t. And I'm not even going to be home because I'm going out in like an hour. The thought of the fact people pay for this and Sony can never give a direct answer is beyond irritating.
