Yes, but never gonna happen.

I agree with this overall. I've played with low ranks that were successful but not often enough because I still kick them from my heist these days. Sometimes I'll join as a random for someone's heist and encounter the low rank chaos lol.

It's like the lottery. Sometimes you just get lucky when you find a good low rank. Maybe a stat in the menu telling us how many heist people successfully completed would be helpful. Like they do with races.

If they ever did that though....10 times better...but only that it says you failed a heist if you died, allerted van driver, were out of bounds,...ect

It's not so much a rank thing it's a lack of instruction from the game.

If more new players were aware of lobby settings such as Player Saved Outfits and knew that they could buy themselves a Heavy Combat Suit I would have less of a problem taking them or joining them on Heists.

I don't think there's enough clear hints and tips from R*. The pop-up instructions that appear in the loading screen aren't enough, there should be a better booklet with the game.

Hell no, I'm starting my second character and i am absolutely clueless what the hell I've done during the start earlier. No contact missions, I'm getting kicked out of everything that i join (lvl 170 or so on 1st character) - except races, but don't own personal cars so am getting beaten at them. And i couldn't buy the better parts anyhow, since everything is level locked.

Don't especially like Deathmatches etc, and by having lower overall energy and no options to buy armor, they would be a slaughter. So overall i really don't think that the first steps should be made any more difficult.

And to Everyone that disagrees; start a 2nd character from the scratch.

In the beggining of gta online the only way to level up was doing Contact mission. The only weapons People had was a pistol and an micro smg. Now they have stingers, assault rifles, snipers, better pistols, and combat smgs. Now we have Contact missions, lowrider missions, flying school, heists, races, dms, and many more. There are a million ways of earning cash and rp in this game. Most People dont' even finish the SP. Edited by Niko the awesome

Series A - level 100

Why????????So they have some space between them, they can't just start one after another if they're new players, this gives it a sense that it's like the story mode

The loadingscreen tips don't even appear cause of those annoying self advertising newswire boxes

But heavy vest isn't even included in those and about the booklet... I would love a brady's for gta o

Smh you are just a noob.

I started my girl character last week.

She is at level 42 with 3 apts, most stats maxed out.

Completed all the heists from fleeca to pac standard.

All finales on Hard.

Got plenty of missions,clothes unlocked.

In less than 2 weeks.

You need more coaching.

I think a better approach would be to have a preference setting in the 'Invite' section of the Lobby.

I have no problem playing with 'Randoms' but I would like the 'Skill-Matched-Players' invite changed to a Minimum Rank option.

That way each host could decide what rank they were comfortable taking on each Heist.

I would say higher than 50. Maybe between 75 and 100. Perhaps even different heists unlocking at different ranks.

More content should be rank locked. In fact, the rank system in regards to unlocks is a bit poo.

The best solution for this would be a filter, like the filter in payday 2.

I've witnessed some players play through all set ups and heist finales with no heavy vest. I've excluded people from my heists because of their low rank in the past. OP, you're not Rock*. Deal with it.

Level doesn't determine skill, and if it did most high levels think to highly of themselves and suck. Also heavy vest > level of player

Most players don't know about the heavy vest.

Sad but true, and seems like nobody knows about saved outfits those make heists so easy

Like i said in previous posts, not all low levels are bad in this games, but Most of them are.

Definitely no. They are fine the way they are, if you have a player having a tough time then help them. You will end up with a better player for it.

Because they essentially are by virtue of the fact that a cop farting at 20 paces can kill them.

You just need to give them a little push and perhaps they will be able to complete a heist without dying.

There's 200+'s running around in the wide world of GTA:O who don't know up from down, and you want to restrict the higher paying heists to only these individuals? Most everyone I know is low level and far more capable than even myself (223). So to follow the collective "no", how about a swift kick off the soap box? Seems like a rank elitist like yourself needs one.

I just was efficient with my time.

And knowing the right ways to build and rank up a character.

The player can't join or host a heist until he reaches level 50. What do you guys think?

No.

All the contact missions are level locked, glad that progress is fast in the start. But there is numbers for Gerald, Simeon and Lamar - none of them has work yet! :D i can't work for those funkers? :D

So.... Banning heists from lower level players would be in line with the game, but a very unwelcome move. I did prison break today, with lvl 50-some, 24 and 14. Not a single death at least highest level guy hadn't even played it before. Just transferred an old account.

Why level 25 for Fleeca? someone who has only been playing the game for 10 minutes can pass that easily. You do know that even at level 125 people can still die easily if they don't have any armor or snacks. Rank doesn't really mean anything when it comes to missions and heists because a level 125 could have gotten that through racing, glitching or modding and if they did then they wouldn't be any better than a level 10.
