For the first time since the Executives and other criminals update came out, and I thought I would give the VIP system a try.

I absolutely loved it. It actually gets random players together and they work for the same goal in free mode. That itself is amazing, and you meet interesting people because of it. I normally enjoy fooling around in free mode because it's an open world environment with other random players, but the downside is that it dosent pay well. The VIP system fixes that, so it's the best of both worlds for me,

ANYWAYS, that's not the point of this thread. I just wanted to say that I appreciate those randoms in the sessions that actually put up a fight and make doing the VIP missions interesting and challenging. Thank you random dude that didn't let me drive aimlessly for 10 minutes in the executive search mission till I got paid, but actually went and killed me. The loss of money doesn't matter because resisting you and fighting back was very fun.

Doing them in an invite only lobby is way more fun. Nobody to ruin them.

That takes all the fun out and makes it boring.

i like the idea of the vip and bodyguard thing, my biggest complain in getting badsport points for destroying a vehicle carring a vip that is marked for assasination, it just stupid like the whole badsport system.

anyway, back on topic vip stuff is super fun.

When random people have healthy minds and start working together. That scenery will restore my faith in community.

So much more fun when other randoms try to stop you doing VIP work, only thing annoying is during piracy prevention when they go on passive and come on board the yacht and jump out of it as soon as your attention is elsewhere and shoot you in the back.

I feel guilty for spoiling the VIP/bodyguard missions with a Hydra... I don't think you'd thank people for that. But I'm saving for a yacht and it's easy money. :(

I actually agree, I was extremely skeptical and still think the mode needs adjusting and expanding but its actually a great addition, and it does bring randoms together to work together! its even been great for crew recruitment. They just need to expand the organisation to more than 4 and inc more Social Club Crew integration

100% this.

Enabling passive mode during this event should IMMEDIATELY throw you off the event, not being able to shoot people defending the yacht when popping out.

Had 2 trolls trying to kill us like this last week, jumping around in santa costumes in passive trying to move out of passive and stab us in the back.

Some Organizations have amazing teamwork. 2 days ago I camo across an Organization with 4 people, the VIP was in a tank the whole time and the bodyguards were protecting him in Buzzards. Couldn't do anything to hurt them because I was the only one to participate in the VIP missions.

Yes I agree. I did the defend the yacht one and nobody attacked us at all. Easy money but dull. You need people to have a go for it to be fun.

That's pretty solid, gotta try that at one point.

Was a lot more fun doing executive search with three bodyguards while seven people closed in on us from air and land.

It was a constant fight, thankfully our whole organization was communicating over Skype. All close friends.

I mean, typically people just ignore organizations and doing missions gets boring.

But even after we had won that one, against stacked odds too, a few of the guys were good sports about it and commented on the challenge.

There aren't enough of these moments in-game.

Credit goes out to my organization.

And our wildcard of a third member who never seems to be around (but always somehow is...)

Rumbunctious

Unfortunately these things are extremely rare on PC, 90% of the time the VIP gets attacked by someone in godmode, and if that's not it then the VIP himself is in godmode.

I'm fed up of receiving message asking if i'll join, i don't work for anybody. I don't even like grinding missions for myself.

I am willing to step up and kill you any time you'd like. In fact, over and over again. Just let me know when you need to do some dying.

Jet griefers are quite annoying too during piracy prevention. They just fly over the yacht and grief instead of trying to complete the objective. But i found an easy and satisfying fix for that.

Usually when I completely destroy an organisation, they'll start crying that I'm hacking and that I am ruining their fun -_-.

I'd like to say thank you to all of the dumbasses who enter a lobby as a VIP without body guards.

Your inability to use passive mode is a source of endless laughter for me.

Don't forget the inability of having a good aim (talking about body guards)

Things like VIP and the Freemode events have made free mode something worthwhile and not just a place to buy clothes.

I never take my eye off those f*ckers.I try not to, but there's more people parachuting in, coming on jet skis and sniping from the shore while I got this dickhead behind me on passive, but thankfully my bodyguards deal with them.
