Any reason why it pays exactly 51k? Seems odd.

 

The $50k portion is for beating the par time itself and then the additional $1k+ is for every minute that the time trial takes, for example if the time trial was over 2 minutes long if would pay out $52k.

Can confirm this one is easy because I only got killed twice by traffic turning across me (and then stopping dead in my path - thanks!) and did it 5 seconds under par about 15m after I started. Usually I'm less than a second under because reasons.

 

The hardest part was getting the landing right tbh

Is this time trial beatable with any "stock" or "almost stock" bike or car? .....like (Level 1 in Mods per say) ?

Bump.

 

That was easy. Made 1:40:01 on a horribly sloppy Bati run, complete with hitting various static and moving objects, and an unexpected takeoff off a curb.

This is the easiest TT in terms of speed constraints. I did it with a Blackfin last time around, will try something slower this time.

EDIT: Cog 55, almost a perfect run but barely made it.

Woohoo! I have a potentially good shortcut for this one, from a new stunt I've been hitting recently. If modified correctly I shouldn't spend 10 seconds in the air and be able to cut off a sizeable amount. I shall see how it goes later!

I had a good go this morning after work, I think one in every 3 landings resulted in her straight off the bike.

This was the first time trial I beat at the second attempt... Just GPS, jump off the parking garage and full throttle all the way... The only difficulty I had, was my PC freezing up halfway, when an organization of two tried to whack me... One second it froze and then full throttle again... 1min 40.2 secs.. Nice to put another 51K in the bag for tomorrow's update... I have a distinct feeling I'll need all the cash I can grab.... Video tomorrow...

So it's not just me then? I'd expect it from all the hackers on word processor but the amount of pop in I get along that road in PS4 is insane. Plus every lobby seems to be using that road for a firefight today.

So it's not just me then? I'd expect it from all the hackers on word processor but the amount of pop in I get along that road in PS4 is insane. Plus every lobby seems to be using that road for a firefight today.

Every run I did today in a 10-20 player lobby had the roads along the police station/Theater/graveyard lag behind and not render fully.

I've come to the conclusion that the game literally flips a coin when you jump off the car park on a bike, because there's no logic to if you stay on or not!

Well my afore-mentioned stunt that could cut some of the route out turned out to be a bit of a red herring. I had to completely remove the jump as it really wouldn't help, but the overall route towards it is a mix between the two we've seen so far. I had a bad run but got 1:38.4. If anyone's interested I'll post the video, but I'm not convinced it makes much difference, if any.

 

 

Edit: I did it with an Akuma twice - once with the route I took last time and once with the new route. The new route was about 1.5 seconds quicker, but it was a much sloppier run. I reckon it could be 4-5 seconds quicker under perfect circumstances.

I did a lot better the second time after I'd been too sleep but it still seemed totally at random if she stayed on or seemed to have a rather weak pelvis that explodes on impact.

 

It is unpredictable, but you can get it down to almost 100% reliable. You know when you let go of the stick and the bike rights itself to wheels down? If you hit the ground *during* that movement then it rarely throws you off. So, keep a wheelie in the air until you're about to hit the ground and then just let it go!

I usually roll my eyes when people say they do these time trials first time but I just did this one earlier on my Hakuchou on the first time of asking and beat the par by about 8 seconds. By far the easiest one I've tried so far.

The one thing I found can work is to boop the Issi on the ramp, which seemed to settle the bike, problem was if you did that you often got tangled in the sign and streetlamp next to them.

Took about 5-8 tries of refamiliarizing myself with the route, and then banged out a 1:36.35 and a 1:34.85 in successive tries. I think I can probably shave a bit more off. Oddly though neither run showed me the completion time, I had to ride back to the start and pull personal best off that to see what my time was.

Anyway offtopic but still ontopic: Do you think Reaper will be faster then Banshee 900R and do you think it will be the new Trial King on roads that arn't offroad?
