How are people making money in golf?

I've heard several people mention now that they were able to make a lot of money playing golf. I also noticed that while I was using golf to level up my characters' strength stats, anytime it threw me into a lobby with other players they were always insanely high ranks. Like, the lowest I ever saw was a level 500-something. What's the deal?

It's a glitch.....for cars.

 

Inb4 glitchers justifying their cause and anti glitchers defending their cause. Which leads into a 3 page argument about this.

It's a car dupe glitch that can make you quite a lump sum of cash, it involves golf. I won't post details, as I believe you could find them with ease with a quick Google search.

 

Also, inb4 anti-glitch arguments.

People are referring to that lowrider dupe glitch but its pretty tricky though. I find it odd that rockstar only patched invisibility part instead of the entire dupe glitch.

Its a glitch, but you have to stick a golf club up your butt. I don't glitch. You'd have to ask one of the glitchers if it was worth it.

The Golf Course is filled with players that have otherwise mastered the game and are having fun with minigames. Usually these players are wealthy in game and will bet heavily. If you want to compete you usually need to be able to win in about 23-24 strokes. Golf in V is seriously underrated and a ton of fun IMO.

To answer your first question, add me if you're on PS4 and if you bet $10,000 (better yet bring 2 friends & have them bet $10,000 too) I'll show you how I make money playing golf LOL! :D As for the high ranks, if you're good at golf you will get 3,000+ RP (depending on the number of eagles, double eagles, & hole in ones) each time you play 9 holes. I'm friends with all of the top GTA golfers in the world, and I can't think of any of them that are under rank 500.

I make money in Golf the old fashioned way - by betting $10,000 and winning. When everyone inevitably leaves.

Yes. Against randoms it's really easy. I always bet 10k, and 100$ on one of the bunch of randoms.

 

3.9k profit + race win profit.
